By far the best place to eat in Artesia

Good food, decent atmosphere (but the tar and creosote beams stink and detract somewhat) and they even have outdoor seating. I've eaten there at least three times and the food is always good. The service is hit and miss. For example, just the other night the waitress asked if I wanted... read more

I can't believe that this restaurant is in Artesia. The food is amazing and the service was spot on. I live in NC, have a son who is a chef in Atlanta, and another son that lives in the foodie city of Charleston SC. I would put the chef of Adobe Rose against some of the best restaurants in either... We had reservations and just found navigated ourselves around the road work to get to the restaurant in time for that. They almost sat us at a table that was right under the speaker for the live entertainment that night. Thirty minutes before the music started! YIKES! We asked to be moved to another table and were accommodated immediately. We... More

If you are near Artesia, NM, at lunch or dinnertime, take advantage of feasting at the Adobe Rose. The building is New Mexico style with patio dining. Lovely flowers and live music in the evening. The menu was varied...steak, seafood, Mexican, burgers, and everything in between. There were four in our party and we each ordered a different entree. The... More

I came here and was pleasantly surprised by its cute courtyard and the remote location. I ordered the "skinny" Monte Cristo. The portion was very generous: one sandwich, one portion of house salad and one yogurt parfait. The sandwich flavour was nothing worthy of mentioning since it was the "skinny" version. But I would totally suggest them at least toast... More

I can not say enough about the quality of the food here. The menu is not large but will appeal to every taste. My wife must eat gluten-free and the chef and staff were very accommodating to her needs. There is also an outdoor dining area with a fire pit and outdoor heaters for the winter. The ambiance is good... More

This is a small but elegant restaurant. We enjoyed the food. Nice portions but not too much. Excellent wine margaritas. If I had not tasted them, I wouldn't have believed it. Pleasant evening

A really nice restaurant in Artesia, NM. What a surprise to have a gem like this. Food is beautifully served, great flavor, awesome service. The restaurant is nicely decorated and plenty of parking.

While visiting family in Carlsbad, we made the drive to Artesia, to eat here because my bro in law's wife had heard good things and liked what they had on the menu. We were a big party and made sure to call ahead. When we got there they acted like they didn't know what we were talking about when we... More

I had a very good dinner at this restaurant, the wait staff was nice and friendly, they were knowledgably of the menu, and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was enjoyable and interesting, we were informed that it was a bed and breakfast, so keep that in mind when making plans to visit this area. We didn’t see the rooms,... More
