this is by far the best bbq I have ever eaten. The mashed potatoes with green chiles and the green beans are great sides. It is nice to sit down and just hang out.

Good food and service - and well worth the stop. On every trip to Cloudcroft, we now stop here for lunch. There is a variety of barbecue that is always great. But something one does not find often in such a place is a huge variety of sides. Since I am trying to increase the vegetables in our family's diet,... More

Friendly service, great food, all-in-all a really good place to have a meal. Staff is very friendly and check on you just often enough to let you know you are not forgotten.

We are from Texas and was looking for some good BBQ and we found it at Henry's. We got the sliced beef which was a bit dry and the chopped beef which was pretty good but overall was very satisfied with our pick of restaurants in Artesia. PS: Great cobbler!

Finally, I was able to try Henry's. No parking available (the place was packed at lunchtime) so I had to walk a little. Ordered a pound of smoked sausage, sliced brisket and pulled pork each. And got the spicy bbq sauce. Even hours later, when reheated for dinner, it was pretty darn good. A little pricy by the pound, but... More

Stopped in at lunch and will be back for more. $4.95 for a small sandwich plate: green chili brisket and two sides. Cafeteria ordering. Place was packed, so sat outside. Real good brisket. Side of sweet baked beans 5 star.

My family and I came in for lunch. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They had a nice selection of food. It was very fresh and delicious. I had the turkey and I loved it. My husband had the green Chile brisket and he liked it. He said it was a little greasy but overall it was good. We... More

We ate at Henry's for dinner during our stay in Artesia. The menu selections and service style will seem familiar to those who frequent Texas barbeque joints; sliced brisket, chopped brisket, sausage links... But don't be fooled, this isn't Texas mesquite smoked barbeque, this is applewood smoked 'cue and the difference is a pleasant surprise. The smoke flavor is milder... More

Henry's does an excellent job of food and service. I arrived near closing time on a week night and was assured it would be no problem to order and enjoy my food as they were closing down. They were right. The simple looking facility smelled great to a hungry traveller and the food matched the initial impression. The pulled pork... More
