8 people, mixed results

Well the reviews are kind of on target. Staff was nice and helpful. The place was clean and not too loud which was nice as this was for business. But the kitchen really blew it for 4/8 people. Served some with frozen veggies with hot fish, the burgers were okay, but the rest was just okay.

Burgers were ok but not as good as expected given they were handmade. Sweet potato fries were outstanding. Service was acceptable.

My brother and I went one evening to get a burger. The waitress asked us how we wanted the burger cooked we both said medium burgers come out both well done and burnt. We asked our waitress to please rectify the problem. She returned literally 2 minutes later same issue this went on 3 times. Manager gets involved and tells... More

My son and I ate there on a Friday just before seeing a show at the Ocotillo Performing Arts Center on the same block. We were seated at 6:10, and paid the bill by 6:55. I sampled some of the microbrews (3/$3.50) and my son and I split the bacon cheddar burger ($12) and club sandwich ($10). We ordered an... More

Besides having nice choices on their menu, this place is also a micro-brewery with a great selection of locally brewed beer. They serve everything from steaks, to some of the best hamburgers in town.

the food is ok, but not great. The atmosphere is good for a sports bar, not so much a restaurant. The wifi connection has been bad for months, and the menu says they make their own cream soda and root beer, but it hasn't been available since I moved here 6 months ago.

Have eaten here a few times and have found that some menu items are GREAT while others are just pretty good. The key is knowing which is which. The fried catfish (especially with a side of grilled asparagus with pico de gallo) is GREAT as are their steak dinners. Mash potatoes are especially good. Green chile stew is very good.... More

The microbrew beer was good. The green chili stew was good. The sweet potato fries were cold and soggy probably had been sitting for quite some time. The buffalo chicken sandwich was a piece of grilled chicken that wasn't very good with a huge smearing of a sauce which wasn't really buffalo but some sort of paste made from water... More

Great place in the middle of Artesia for steak. Good lunches. We had a big bowl of green chile stew... we're New Mexicans, and that was some hot stuff!

Came here for dinner one night because I heard the food was good. In actuality, it is little more than an expansive bar food menu. I got the turkey club, which was terrible. I was expecting a nice triple Decker sandwich with toasted bread and crisp bacon. Instead, I had two slices of Texas toast with warmed turkey, warmed wilted... More
