The whole sociable way of dining in Middle Eastern restaurants is demonstrated here in spades. Glorious dishes of humous, falafel, salad, tahini... this list goes on (see the picture) with the most gorgeous pitta bread which we discovered had Syrian Marjoram baked on the top of it and gave it a delightful spicy kick/ This si just starters - you... The food served was plentiful and varied. The only complaint was that our second course was served before we had finished the first which consequently was cold when we were ready to eat.

My family had booked for lunch here on Saturday. We came for the authentic Arab eating experience. As we sat down a collection of dips and starters arrived - maybe 15 plates. We then chose meat, chicken or fish. My Salmon was greasy but delicious. Others enjoyed lamb and chicken kebabs. Again chips and a rice dish arrived together with... More

We wanted a different kind of meal, including oriental salads like tabula, stuffed grape leaves, humous, babaganush. The skewers were juicy, the fish was well done, the beverage consisting of beer and soft drinks were good too.The service very good. The black coffe and tea served with oriental sweets were tasty, the sea view was great and we were lucky to have a breeze. Nice meal and... More

We sat on the big balcony on a thursday night and had a view to the sea. We got a variety of fresh and tasty starters, pita bread, lemonade (too sweet but refreshing), goldstar beer and a very good levrak fish - partly frighed and partly grilled. It was delicious. The restaurant is very spacious and can accomodate large groups.... More

Maybe average is too good a grade. Considering how well one can eat in Jaffa this (Arab) restaurant was a disappointment. The french fries were soggy with oil (usually a bad sign) and the grilled fish dishes unremarkable. Service was adequate but I expected better food

The seafood: beyond fresh. The hospitality: beyond reproach. The ba'lawa (baklava) was light and delicious. You have to make choices to avoid being too full, so pass on the Tel Avivi cabbage salads and stick with the mezze that Arab.cuisine is famous for. And savor the lemonade. It's such a perfect blend between sour and sweet that you won't need... More

There was nothing to dislike about this restruant it was great. As soon as we sat down at our table they brought us a wide variety of salad dishes, including the obligatory humous, and pitta bread. The menus were available in English and very clear. The food was plentiful and delicious. Just amazing. The staff were frienly and helpful and... More

So the location is great and it's really easy to get there. The place is comfortable to seat in but make sure you make reservation (specially during weekends). Salads were REALLY fresh and good. Main dishes are good and tasty. The food is earthy and not novel cuisine. Service is quick and friendly. Bottom line a nice place for a... More
