Great View!

The food is nice, but the view is just GREAT. The fried calamari and shrimp that I had here were one of the best that I have ever had! The salmon steak is great, but unfortunately the marinated herring that we had as apetizer was quite disgusting... I was a bit dissapointed about it. The staff... read more

I visited Aladin my last day in Tel Aviv and was not disappointed. I would imagine most visitors are drawn here by the patio that offers beautiful views of the Mediterranean and Tell Aviv beach. We went for lunch and had a selection of salads to start (all were excellent) and a whole fish which I would highly recommend.

The main advantage of this little restaurant is the fantastic view which you can enjoy from its windows and verandas. The food is also not bad, especially seafood. The only disadvantage was the ice-cream, but it was not a big problem.

My family of six and I stopped by because we heard it was good food in a great location. And that's what we got. Located in beautiful old Jaffa, Aladin had good food, good service, and a breathtaking view of the new and old city and of course the Mediterranean.

This place is an Experience. I love Aladin, and make a point of eating there whenever I visit Israel. The atmosphere and view are just breath-taking. The restaurant is built in an 800 year old stone building from the time of the Ottoman Empire, and is situated on top of Old Jaffa with a stunning panoramic view of the Mediterranean... More

Staff were warm, friendly....it has always been one of my favorite stops in Jaffa/ Tel Aviv! We were there this past summer during the war.....it felt so good to be there! And like I said, the food was delicious!!

We visited this restaurant in Old Jaffa during the Easter week in Israel, when the weather was extremely windy and chilly and we were desperately seeking the place to get some hot food. This restaurant is placed very beautifully on the slope of the hill of old Jaffa facing the sea and a beach-promenade of Tel Aviv. Place is not... More

A wonderful cafe for couples on a romantic date (ok - so my parents used to come here on dates :-) with the best view in town without a doubt. The place is cozy and the style is very special to the region (arched ceiling etc). While the food is not the best in the area...try ordering a dessert or... More

The main draw for Aladin is the view. Sitting outside overlooking the Tel Aviv shoreline is a great experience. Regardless, the food is rather average. Go for the view but lower your expectations for the food.
