On a hot day, this place was a refuge and a pleasant discovery. Set in what was formally an old Turkish bath, this was a nice and inexpensive way to refresh with a cold drink and good food, at a nice price. The salads were huge and could easily be split between two people...the wait staff was friendly and helpful... More

We came for lunch, ordered a mix sea food, and my husband ordered fish. Excellent food, simple but really nice with a magnificent view of the sea. Service was very good too, and the price was surprisingly cheap for what we ate. Dessert was just very very good! Maybe we were lucky because we were the first customers for lunch... More

Somehow or other on every visit to Israel, we end up eating at Aladin because the food is good and views over the sea and Tel Aviv are spectacular.

Nice view on the Jaffa bay, but only from the open-air terrace which has just 4 tables for 4 persons each other. There is much more place inside, but not such nice view, primarily because of dirty, worn plastic windows. Average food quality. I ordered the falafel and lam kebab. Falafel was too dry, kebab wasn't fried enought. But overall... More

We only had and salad and some hummus, but both were very good. The service was also very good and the atmospheric and location are great.

I was staying at the Dan Panorama Tel Aviv hotel. I had walked down to Old Jaffa on my first night in town, and decided I wanted to return. On the next Friday morning I wandered down to Old Jaffa again to see a couple sights, do some shopping at the Flea Market, and grab lunch. Aladin was at the... More

We visited this restaurant as a large group of 12 people and would not hesitate to go back. The meals were good portions infact our starters were so good we were all stuffed before the main courses arrived. The service was great and the young girl couldn't have been more attentive throughout the evening. The view at night was great... More

I walked over from the Intercontinental David Hotel, a wonderful walk along the beach. It was rather late, still warm in November and stumbled into this place that looked really inviting. The welcome was unusual, almost hostile. "What do you want here." I asked if they were still open for some late night dinner. I wanted to sit outside (where... More

We were to this place for a dinner. Restaurant itself is perched above Mediterranean and provides quite good views over the sea and Tel Aviv skyline. Building is quite eclectic with the interiors matching the name, with the feeling that you are actually inside the lamp :). Although eclectic, place looks neglected and is in a need of a repair.... We were afraid of walking into this place because it is obviously situated in the middle of a tourist trap. However, the prices seem reasonable. We sat outside overlooking the Mediterranean sea. It was just perfect. The food was outstanding and so was the service. Oh, and the drinks were much cheaper than the ones at the Kalamata's restaurant.
