I ate tepanyaki shrimps and calamaris, which were ok but without real imagination. Maybe this is because I was in Japan not that long ago. My friends had sushis and they found it quite good. Service was excellent and the wine was ok (Italian).

Excellent selection of sushi! Great cocktails and mouth watering desserts. Service is fast, efficient and professional. Prices are on the high end but then again, so are all good restaurants in Israel. Would definitely return!

I have been to this restaurant at least four times over the past year, a pleasant dining experience each time. The food has always been excellent, service pretty good considering it is still Israel, and the overall atmosphere wonderful. The decor is beautiful and always feels clean. The food is professionally and beautifully served! Overall, a perfect place for a... More

It use to be one of the top 5 in Israel till not long ago BUT last week we found it to be one of the worst. The place was not air conditioned, a bad sign for sushi on a hot afternoon. The food was mediocre at best. The price was expensive. But the worst part was when we got... More

I've been to this restaurant over the years, and have always had positive memories. However I was at the Ra'anana branch recently, and had a very mediocre experience (if the restaurants are operated separately as concessions, then this review is less relevant -- but it still means that the brand is not being managed properly; and if the two locations... Dear B J, Thank you for taking the time to write this review. The branches are managed separately. The branch in Raanana is Kosher and does not carry seafood. we appreciate your review and promised to check if they are keeping the standart they should be. hope to see you again soon... Kyoto More

Sushi was mediocre and really expansive...almost no fish in the sushi just vegetables and rice. The noodles were not tasty at all.

Loved it! It started with the great service we got, then the food arrived. I have to say the sushi there is amazing. We bought a great Israeli wine that the waiter recommended. If your craving sushi when you are in Israel go to kyoto !

This is one of the best Japanese restaurant I know of. The Sushi is great, not only in variety but most important in its taste! Comfortable, well serviced, very good atmosphere.

Kyoto is a good sushi place however over the years they are moving away more and more from real Japanese sushi and doing adaptation to traditional Jewish food - what do I mean by that is that more and more dishes have cooked fish which dose not really fit sushi and no one is telling you that when taking the... Kyoto a very good Japanese restaurant. You won't be disjointed. However, I used to rank it as one of the 3 best Japanese restaurants in Israel back in the 90's, when they had very special, unique and interesting dishes, but no more. They serve very good Japanese food, but pretty much ordinary.
