Yummy

Fun, live music at night! Great drinks and the food is fantastic too. I highly recommend going when Jimmy Stadler is playing. It is fantastic fun at night and the sky in incredible in the evening sunset time.

Yes, it's a little pricey for this random restaurant being out in the middle of nowhere but it was truly amazing. I had the potato crusted sea bass and my husband had the mix grill. Meat was cooked to perfection! Melt in your mouth and could cut with a fork. We are from Texas and know our steaks. It was... More

We are regulars at Sabroso and generally prefer the bar menu. The combination of the menus has left our favorites from the bar menu untouched which we really appreciate. I still think they have the best green chili cheeseburger around. While some of the regular front house wait staff seemed to have moved on we have noticed some uneven service... More

We sat in the bar area to enjoy the more relaxed atmosphere compared to the formal dining room. Much to our surprise they do not offer a bar menu... I ordered a Caesar salad with salmon and it was $19... I think there are other choices available!

Thanks for your input. The bar menu is gone in name only. Sabroso recently combined its two menus into one keeping all but a few seasonable items from the bar menu and adding several entrees from the main menu. Bar item prices were not changed. The option for salmon on the Caesar salad was added at that time. We believe... More

Sabroso is located just outside of Arroyo Seco, which is a village on the way from Taos to the ski valley. It has two lovely rooms for dining, both with fireplaces and an outdoor covered patio for warmer weather. The bar is large and has seating at the bar and at low tables and sofas. The walls have beautiful painted... More

Had the steak frites tonight. The flavor of the meat was good with a tasty sauce and it was cooked medium rare, as ordered, but the the meat was tough. Also, L - O - N - G periods of time passed between visits from the waiter. The bar's atmosphere is cozy and intimate, it's a great place, but it... More

We loved the bar and unfortunately had reservations somewhere else. The place is fabulous! Dark and cozy with live music and great margaritas!

Go early to enjoy the live music - it sets a soothing note to the atmosphere. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. One mean margaritas - actually two each. The food was average except for the corn chowder which was excellent. We would certainly go back. There was a rehearsal dinner there that evening... More

We had dinner on the patio, and as it was cool, they gave me a wrap - perfect! Our dinners were from the bar menu, but plenty of food, and all very good. Chef Tim even came to our table and visited for a bit. It couldn't have been better - can't wait to go back! Delicious Margaritas too!

We arrived at dusk and though it a bit cool to sit outside (where there was entertainment). We got a quiet table inside and had a nice dinner. My wife had fillet mignon and I had chicken stuffed with feta and sundried tomatos. The salads and sides were very good, especially the fingerling potatoes. Service was excellent and the wine...
