among the hustle and bustle of the old city market there lies a gem. one can easily spot this place with the huge cue/line of people waiting to be seated just to eat humus. but this is no ordinary humus! they have 3 kinds of the chickpea mash and then all of the pickled salads to go with it; not... Said in Acco is a workers restaurant simple and with great Humus , vegetables and pickles and pita for each person. You usually have to wait on line to get in and you sit where there is room. The food is good and cheap and you can really get the feel of being an Israeli in this place. the restaurant... More

Come here not only to try one of the greatest and tastiest hummus in all Israel, but to experience a nice meal in a restaurant where both arabs and jews eat together in this peaceful city... But no only the food is great and cheap ( a sheer 15 NIS for a hummus dish plus a veggie and pickles dish!!... More

What can you say? Hummus and only Hummus. Certainly the best in Akko. Probably the best in Israel. Great break during a tour of the Old City.

Not everyone knows how to judge and appreciates good food. There are those who are looking more of the surrounding than on the dish itself. Still there are those who knows that delicious food, can be found in bustling markets and modest restaurants. Said restaurant in Acre, is the best Humus restaurant in Israel. You have to wait for 10... More

very good humus. very cheap. basic menu is 15 Shekel = 3 euros.it is very basic - not a sign to fancy. it is open only till 14:00. it is located in the middle of the Shouk.it is really an intersting to visit there. then you can go to a resturant.

Yes, Said has very good humus. But is it worth waiting in the long line? All I'm saying is -- there are several good places for humus in Acre. To some extent this place is a victim of it's own success. So if you really, really want humus from Said, then you'd better arrive early...

The queues in this hole in a wall venue in Akko is worth queuing for. Nothing fancy but a solid good meal that is as authentic and tasty as one can experience and good value. Hard to find hummus and ethnic type food to beat this.
