We went with old friends who live in Haifa but have never been to this restaurant. We had a table next to the window with a great view of Haifa Bay. My only quibble is that the waiter allowed us to order too much food. However, everything we ordered was great. We specifically asked that the salads be prepared without... More

Our group stopped here for lunch after a tour of Old Acre (Akko). We had lunch here - great food + great service. Highly recommend it.

The location seems nice at first, but if you explore Akko some more you will find much nicer locations by the sea. They serve everything - not just fish. Prices are average plus. We had the sea bass and the cusk, with a hummus starter. The bass was quite OK, a bit tasteless though. The cusk was nice. We had... More

This is the kind of place I like because the food is good and the presentation is simple; nothing was a big production. It was a really pleasant experience sitting at the edge of the water. Our waiter was friendly. The beer was cold. Really nice.

Enjoyed the service, the food and the view! Awesome place for a seafood meal, the weightier allowed me to actually pick out exact fish that I wanted to eat. Enjoyed my visit to this restaurant.

The view over the Mediteranean is spectacular. Unfortunately that is about it. The food is of poor quality and the service is unprofessional and a bit surly. It is as if they decided we have a great view so that should be enough. My advice skip it. John N.

The food was alright, but our server was very unfriendly. He was very impatient with us, even though we were 1 of only a handful of tables in the restaurant. We ended up staying and talking for a long time and our server eventually brought us some coffee and dessert on the house, which almost made up for his earlier... More

A quaint yet large restaurant serving a variety of sea food including shrimp and other shell type fish. This restaurant is located right in the old city about 150 feet south of the lighthouse.

We looked for some place to eat in Acre, and since there is no Aroma Espresso Bar for our chain lover (me), we came here. The service was extremely fast, we sat in the balcony right on the beautiful sea, and both the fish and steak were good. For dessert we received Baklava and strong black coffee. It was worth... More

Abu Christo is one of my favorite restaurants in Israel. Great food - fresh fish and the usual Israeli sides, an informal setting and a great view of the sea. All of this at very reasonable prices
