If you're in the Sengigi area, definitely try Coco Beach - authentic local food in a very original and relaxed setting. If you happen to go there at night, the dirt road leading to the restaurant is eerily dark. They will call a taxi for you at the end of your meal. Highly recommend the Gado Gado, Satay and their... Ambience, tick. Service, tick. Food, tick! This place is where the expats go, so that tells you something about Vivi and Jean Paul's hospitality. When I go back to Lombok, this is my first stop. Go here first, you won't regret it!

Unexpected visit to a very quiet beach location (lucked out as not a tourist in sight) soaking in the sights and sound of the waves as I enjoyed a gluten free nasi goreng and a traditional djamoe drink under a Indonesian style open bamboo hut. Waiter was very helpful when taking my special meal request. Was there for hours, and... More

Ambiance: We had fun dining inside the lovely bamboo hut and we had been here twice in a row for dinner. You would have to go through a coconut plantation to get to this place, there are no streetlights and it was very dark! The best time to come would be before the sunset, so one can truly appreciate the atmosphere... More

The food was reasonably good but not exceptional. However the kitchen 'forgot' half our order so our meal was split into 2 parts where one person got his entree and main, but the other 3 got entrees and no mains until we asked where the rest of the food was. Even the entrees took 40 minutes to rock up. Location... More

My boyfriend and I just had dinner (and lunch earlier on!) at this lovely restaurant. The food is really tasty, ingredients are fresh and the service is really attentive. We had chicken a la coco, fish BBQ and noodles with chicken - all of which I would strongly recommend. We also had chicken catay (chicken with vegetables with oyster sauce)... More

Service was fantastic, setting amazing and food is the best on Lombok. Truly unique and satisfying. We stayed nearby and ate here nearly every day and sometimes twice a day. Much of the food is freshly picked out of the organic garden in back. Fresh herbs and spices are hand ground with a mortar and pestle in the kitchen to... More
