Should try the fried chicken

Amazing taste of the authentic fried chicken. Deep fried with local flavor. Although Fish is not my favorite dish, family recommend to try the Ikan panggang. I think This is the original resto Pagi sore before they open their branch in jakarta and other cities. Must try it when visit Padang

Me and my hubby were just back from Pagi sore and we can say that we were overcharged, paid IDR 176000 just for 4-5 plates of dishes. Took the fried chicken as recommended in here and added extra 2 pieces while the rest of dishes are merely veggies (2 plates of petai, one plate of small dried fish cook with... More

This place is only for eating Padang food. The taste is very delicious and has mild level in spicy level. Somehow, they put a little bit of sweetness in every food, so it was acceptable for everyone. The down side is there's nothing more to Padang food, Don't expect top notch cleanliness and the smoking section was just next to... More

I agree with the other reviews that the taste of the food here is good. However, after being in Indonesia for 6 months I learned about fair pricing and could understand enough overheard Indonesian to know that I was charged 3 times what the local eating by me was for a similar meal. I realize locals pay different most everywhere,... More

"Pagi Sore" very famous and also the iconic restaurant in Padang. It's original fried chicken recipe really delicious...awesome! One is never enough...But lately the restaurant was burned by fire and still renovated. Hope it open very soon.

This place has one of the best chicken in Padang. But more should be said about the pickled cucumbers. It's fresh, crunchy, and balances the savoury you get from the other dishes. Definitely a must when you're in Padang.

When you take your seat, the waiters will serve several plates of food like the usual Padang restaurant. I don't think they serve the chicken with the batch, so you have to ask for it. The chicken is crunchy but not dry. Super tasty without the powerful spices like other Padang menu. Delicious and the chicken size is quite small,... More
