To get an overall Medan night food street, Merdeka Walk is the place to go. Food is oke, but all the better if you have a medanese to bring you to other places. But if you are a tourist without any friends in Medan, Medeka walk is definitely satisfy you fo the night. Note, there is an open air Stadium... More

This is the best place for meet new people in Medan, unfortunately, during my visit it was heavy rain, so me and my friends only sat in indoor restaurant, the best place is outdoor, you can enjoy your meal while listening to live music or chit-chats with friends. Foods are great, with a better price

The walk is only about 800m beside the main road and with sports field at the back part. The area was packec with customers , mainly local Indonesians ver after buka puasa (end of day... More

This is a food area around a park with a couple of shops, we went during Chinese new year so it was closed so really I can not say much except its opposite the Grand Ashton Hotel which was very nice.

Staying at Grand Aston City Hall Hotel, I find Merdeka walk is so convenient besides having to cross the road in a terribly crazy rush hour, there're lots of variety from local to dim sum or pizza for supper and the price is very reasonable. Enjoy eating there anytime.

Plenty of small places to eat, drink or smoke some shisha. Great atmosphere with lots of people walking around late at night, and very reasonable prices. An essential part of any visit to Medan.
