Great dinner but very basic

Very basic ambiance. Communal tables with not so good ventilation. A lot of locals dine here. We spent Rp 290,000 for two grilled fish, Kangkong vegetables, squid and grilled prawns and mineral water. I prefer New Dinar for seafood anytime but the food here is not too bad. Give it a shot.

We had a grouper, squid and local fish paste wrapped in leaves. The fish were grilled to perfection. No marinates and sauces. Just the seafood own juices. Natural sweetness. You may not even want to use the drippings provided.

Simple dressing yet tasty. The fish looks fresh, although the place may a bit dirty, it gives you really quick service.

Cannot say much beside that I didn't like the taste. I think they didn't even put salt on the fished they grilled, it was so plain. The steamed flying fish eggs also the same. I wonder if the local like this type of seafood. The chilly sauce provided on the table and have a very regular taste. However the service... More

It is near the seafront You walk in, have a look at the wide variety of fishes, crabs and other seafood, choose the one you like and they prepare it for you. Everything is fresh and delicious. The restaurant is simple and big enough to find a table without reservation. Local people showed it to me and it seems to... More

This is a well-known seafood restaurant in Makassar, although i'm not quite sure why. My wife loved her 'Pepes Telur Ikan' and otak-otak, but my Ikan Baronang Bakar was just okay.

Despite the rave, not too sure exactly what is so special. Food is ok, just. The seafood is not that fresh according to my other half who is a chef, and I would prefer if the seafood we ordered (2 kinds of fish n a squid) a little more browned. The fried kangkung is good. Restaurant is very smokey and... More

We ordered sambal kangkong, grilled fish, squid, calamari. The seafood is fresh with reasonable place. The place itself is a side street restaurant with no aircon. It opens till late.
