Nice Thai restaurant, worth a visit

Had a nice family evening meal here. Reasonable Thai fusion menu, with a number of options. On a quiet evening , service friendly and helpful, with useful guidance on the menu willingly given. Baan Aarya had delicious crackers that we joyfully munched on and we had enough to take home for leftovers. Yum! For dessert we got the gourmet Snickers bar, and it was quite delectable. Our waitress was named Jacqueline, which we found to be a great name. She was nice. She was so pretty i thought about leaving my wife for... More

The restaurant really is a very nice one, with nice settings and locations ( a bit warm for outdoor table though), and they served a very delicious food. Just get ready to pay the price also. When you visit this place and don't have any transportation to send you back to your hotel. You can ask them if they able... More

Really liked the food here - had green curry pasta, very fresh tasting spring rolls, beautifully cooked pan fried snapper, some fish starter which was lovely (can't remember the name). Nice music playing, good cocktails.

We thought it would be a special evening, but nothing seemed good at this restaurant. The service was OK but not overly friendly, the meals in some respect came too fast! How can something be cooked that fast? The quality of the food was dismal. We have had Thai food at a number of restaurants around the world and this... More

By the time our family visited this restaurant there were few guests and we had a dinner in such a cozy, quiet atmosphere. The place is small and seems to be managed very neatly. I love the interior decoration of the restaurant. Foods, on the other hand, was disappointing. I ordered Thai beef salads and was too salty. I asked... More

Had three very nice dishes for dinner. Lighting was very dim was our only complaint. Beautiful outdoor setting overlook a calm bay unfortunately it was raining that evening.

The food was good but very expensive and rice had to be ordered separately for dishes which usually include it. Also dishes were delivered at different times. The ambience is nice with a view of the sea. The staff was quite attentive and very polite.

Baan Aarya had a great opportunity to be something very special. It is in a lovely setting, in a great, glass-dominated, airy, but traditionally-inspired building, with outdoor tables also on offer. Unfortunately, its food lacks authenticity, despite being priced above most Thai restaurants in nearby SIngapore, let alone local Indonesian offerings. This is really Thai food cooked in the Indonesian... More
