This 933 should have a big "tourist trap"stamped on their signboard. The restaurant is build on Still water and the smell from the water is already overbearing. We were told that we will be getting baby lobster and end up with some pathetic looking small crayfish or prawns that growth wrong. The crabs hardly have any meat in there and... More

Whenever we go to island destinations, we always want to try the seafood so we expected so much from this restaurant. My rating is simple: two thumbs down. First of all, the place. The restaurant is built on stilts over the water but one look at the water is enough for you to lose your appetite. Little, if at all,... More

My British boyfriend thought that he could get better seafood back home in Singapore, which is true. I guess it is an automatic thinking that batam should have amazing seafood. That was why we went. We ordered steamed sea bass, kang Kong, cereal prawns, bbq scallops and seafood fried rice which amounted to $37. The size of the prawns was... More

The cereal sotong was nicely fried with a light crunch... Do sample the sauce of the baby lobster and curry gravy of the "curry crab" dishes which were fragrant and delicious. As for the rest of the dishes (standard tour group lunch), just give them a miss and save your calories for food sampling/food in the malls.

Tiny seafood like prawns, crabs, etc. Food was mass produced and fast in serving. Smelly near the entrance and bad lighting inside the toilet.

We had visited this restaurant few times and the food is just ok. But this time round everything is so horrible. Out of 17 pax of us there, 17 is down with food poisoning which is a 100% hit. The prawn they serve us is around 1cm in size which they claim it is live prawn. The crab they serve... More

Almost all tour operators take their groups here for lunch. There is nothing fantastic about the food, but the quantity they give you is a lot since it's mostly just 10pax per table and you get to have at least 5-7 dishes.

Apparantly golden prawn 933 and 555 runs under the same boss. We visited both restaurant and love the food that was served. On the first day, we had Salted Egg crab x2, fried sotong (calamari), sambal kang kong, soya sauce 'lala', hotplate toufu and Cereal (tiger) prawn and 2 coconuts for 2 pax! The bill amounts to about RP450k. We... More
