The consistency of taste and the rich ingredient are the standard of the soup. I think the creator put really a lot of effort to make the taste consistence, even in any branches, the taste was standardized.

when i was childhood time, my parents always eat the legend soto ayam in ambengan. Until now, the taste still authentic, unique, and still legend for me. A bowl of chicken soup with chicken fillet and koya (a ruin of shrimp crackers) make a joyful and feeling memories.

If you want to try the Surabaya's legendary coto (or you can call it soup), you must try this one. The seasoning is really great. The place is clean, and the staff is very quick. Soto Ambengan or some people called it Soto Pak Sadi, is a famous chicken soup in Surabaya. The restaurant served only Soto Ayam, this place is always full of crowd at lunch so prepare to get here earlier.

If you are the kind of traveler or foodist that need to try local dish or restaurant that is well known or an icon in a certain city or place, then you can try soto ambengan in Jl. Ambengan Surabaya. The taste is good, yeah, just good... :)

Always the first choice since my teenage back in 80's. This chicken soto gives unforgettable taste, with thick and creamy yellow soup, blended with your own content, plain sliced chicken meat, or skin chicken. Located at Jalan Ambengan, this place is a must stop for lover traditional food. Very crowded at lunch time, since the place is not really big.... More

This is one of my oldest restaurants that I have been visiting since childhood. The Soto Ayam is really good and highly recommended.
