The factory processing cigarettes had stopped in Sept 2019. What you will see is a cavenous empty hall. However, there is still a video which u can view. Changed name & chef & menu. But some favorites food are still the same, such as, oxtail soup, soto ayam & nasi goreng. The room in the back are for smokers & the room is really smelly when u want to pass thru to the...toilet behind it. Price is moderate & taste average nothing special. But they serve coffee mix. Maybe it's good, haven't tried it yet.More

Truly didn't expect such a fascinating tour and museum. Seeing the ladies working, rolling 300 cigarettes in an hour was incredible. They never stop. Really interesting other aspects of the business, including the printing of cartons, publicity etc. Expected little but found it amazing. The...coffee shop/restaurant on site, Tanamera is also superb.More

Despite my disapproval of smoking, I visited this factory and was amazed the see the dexterity of the workers making cigarettes. This factory also contains a good restaurant which serves good food and excellent coffee.

See the history of the tobacco company interesting even if you do not smoke. Fascinating to see the speed they roll the cigarettes. Brian was a great tourguide. Also they have a number of free city tours available throughout the day, but be early (around...9am) as they are filling up quick. The food and drinks are nice but pricey for Indonesia, but do able.More

We went along as a family and found the history very interesting. Would suggest you request a guide as you enter the building as they are very knowledgeable. Also go before 11am if you want to watch the hand rolling taking place. That's worth watching...as the women look like they are in a fast forward movie. We loved it and felt we learnt more about this industry in Indonesia and the Cafe's very good too.More
