I love Timlo Sastro since I was little. The taste is consistently good. I especially like the egg with kecap manis. Great for lunch!

We went here for breakfast since most of other famous cafe is not open yet. They serve chicken soup with plain rice. Just ordinary taste.

Timlo Sastro has been est.since long time ago. A kind of soup dish, rich in chicken stock flavour, got chicken, chicken liver, special cooked-egg and "sosis". Served with soy chili (sambal kecap). Definitely a must try!

This one is the best timlo i ever taste. The soup is really tasty and the service is fast. Make sure you visit early in the morning otherwise you have to wait quite a long time and fight with other customers since no one taking waiting list.

It was easy to find the place, located at the corner of Jl Samanhudi (behind Pasar Gede Solo). You can choose Timlo of Egg, Sosis, or others. You also can choose quite a lot variant of traditional drinks in there.

No doubt the best Timlo in Solo. Price is reasonable. Location is easy to find behind Pasar Gede (Large Market). However, not very comfortable seating and limited seats.

This place lives up to its reputation. They serve delicious clear Timlo soup. Traditional live music is quite entertaining. As this is a "warung" style eatery (street food stall), if you could see past the unclean surroundings, you would enjoy its cuisine.

This IS the best food we taste in Solo so far. It has savoury taste with clear broth. We suggest you to order sosis solo timlo instead of complete timlo if you don't like insides (jeroan). Minus point is it's location near TPA or garbage pooling so you will kinds of disturbed with the smell.
