The most famous place to eat in cirebon, you're probably won't get any seats if coming here on lunch hour. The price was cheap and self service serving makes you wanna have them all to try on your plate

your visit to Cirebon would not be complete without visiting this restaurant. The place is pretty small, so do not come at lunch or dinner hour because it was very full. Come around 11 am or after 1 pm, more quiet. Fill your appetite with a variety of menu offerings, I myself prefer tempe bacem, empal gentong and pepes ikan,... More

Nasi Jamblang is Cirebon "national dishes"....actually it is rice in small quantities, with plentiful choices of meat, poultry, egg, pepes, sea food, tahu, tempe and many other dishes which you could name. The distinction is : it is wrapped in teakwood leaf, gives it own unique appearance and taste. It is strongly suggested to come as early as possible or... More

They serve hot white rice on the "Jamblang Leaf" thus the dish is called "Nasi Jamblang". After you have been serve with the rice (1 or 2 portions - it maybe small for foreigners) you can choose your additional items or gravy to mix & match to suit your taste buds. They have Fried Chicken, Fired "Tempe", Fried "Tahu", "Rendang... More

This is my favorite restaurant in cirebon. There is so many variation of traditional food served at the top of jati's leaves. Taste is excellent, the atmosphere is very homy, price is just right. My favorite food are dage (fried fermented soy product -tempe-), Semur daging with soft texture then just melt in mouth, and last but not least, tahu... More

You can choose anything you want to be the side dish. but i think one is not enough you need more than one portion of Nasi Jamblang. That because the portion really small. love that Nasi Jamblang so much.

The varieties of food are many and self services. The area is not too large and in morning or lunch time people are waiting in the line to take the food

Since it's ranked as number 1 in Tripadvisor review, of course i tried it. But i think it's overrated... It is not more than rice and some condiments: beef semur, fried tempe, potato-satay and sambal - wrapped in teak leaf (that's why it is called Nasi Jamblang). The leaf doesn't add value to the rice, as it is not aromatic.... More
