For me and my family Midori is the only place for Japanese food in Bogor. Its been countless time we have lunch or dinner here. We never have any complain about the food. Authentic Japanese taste. BTW, they have live music in Wednesday if you like. For me it's a bit noisy.

I was here for a reunion, i remember the taste was good, so i tell my friends to go there. But the result was bad, the sashimi was good but the sushi, especially the sushi's rice doesnt taste so good. In fact it ruin the whole of sushi' s taste. Whats happening? What makes it turn bad like this? I... More

Yet, it doesn't mean the food is great. However, I think it is still very pleasant to go to have some Japanese food in Bogor instead of going all the way to Jakarta. I only order sashimi on Friday to make sure it is fresh. Ramen never goes wrong while I think Sushi is just OK because the rice sometimes... More

So far so good. Great taste for non Japanese tongue. The staffs are so helpful. Great price too. I regularly visit Midori with some friends.

We used to come almost weekly because it was consistently good. But having not been for a few months we were disappointed that it took half hour to order; my rice came when I'd finished everything else (after requesting it 3 times); and the sushi rolls weren't really rolled, they were just pushed together a bit. I'd understand if it... More

The restaurant interior is basic but the food is good and staff are friendly. While the selection is not as great as in Jakarta you don't have to drive 3hrs thru mayhem traffic for good japanese food. BTW they serve beer as well.

Well, of course cannot compare to other Japanese restaurants in the world, or even in Jakarta. However, it is quite acceptable in Bogor area. Not to put too much expetation for the sashimi, or sushi. The freshness for the sashimi always a challenge. To reduce the food cost, I think they use local rice instead of sushi rice, which is... More

Hi I've only eaten a couple of places but Midori tops Hatsu Tei and the places in Botani by a good bit. Much higher quality fish, more traditional japanese instead of indonesian fusion, and the wonderful sesame dressing I love so much. There's really no contest. The others are far behind, although Hatsu Tei seems to be trying harder lately.

We got the reference from Trip advisor and decided to try having dinner with our family. It is a nice restaurant, very good food and the price is not expensive. For 4 persons: we had Sukiyaki, salad, miso, maki roll, clam, beef roll, beef curry rice, and desserts. Total we only spend Rp. 514.000net. And the taste.... after we get... More
