Old and good

Casa Luna is one of the oldest restaurants in Ubud cooking good food for Westerners. I was first there 21 years ago and they weren't new then. The owner has been around the world demonstrating Indonesian cooking and has a written a couple of respected books on the subject. They now serve a good mix... read more

Loved the salted caramel doughnuts and iced coffee, as well as the cat walking around in the rafters of the building :)

We loved this elegant cafe/restaurant. A stylish Balinese setting was complemented by scrumptious French pastries and coffee. This was a welcome haven in Ubud's busy main street. We'll be back.

After a number of recommendations we decided to try Casa Luna. I started with a selection of dumplings which were not very appetizing at all. They were tasteless served with a rather unpleasant fish sauce. We also had the dips which were probably the best thing we had there but were not that good. I was recommended to have the... More
