They had a good variety of dishes to choose from and I had the Tempeh and tofu. It was my first time trying tempeh and it was amazing!

Dear Angela Thrilled that you enjoyed our food and tempeh is certainly one of my fav ingredients. It's one of the most complete proteins on the planet and, being fermented, means it's uber easy to digest. Hope we see you again! More

Incredible place to be at in Ubud. Casa Luna (Cafe and Bar) is a great cultural hang out. The best part about my experience was that my husband and I stumbled upon a surprise as they screened The Grand Budapest Hotel that night. We enjoyed a delicious Indonesian feast (Nasi & Mei Goreng), chicken and seafood dumplings and probably the... More

I am a huge foodie so mark my word. This place is lovely! Their peanutsauce, satay, tandoori chicken... Is wonderful! Their latte and icecream cappochino are a must! And their secretweapon; coconutkiller coctail is not to be missed! Going back to night to try something different!

Expensive for the area, food was nice but not outstanding. Service was similarly good but not great. There are better options in the vicinity

Dear CD I am sorry for being so mediocre. Let's hope we come up to a lovely level of excellence next time and maybe I should order for you, too. We do have some pretty fab dishes that you must have missed. Best Janet More

I love my coffee, and I love it strong and smooth. This is exactly what Casa Luna delivers in a beautiful setting. There is also a great range of cakes. I can't comment on the meals as I have never had a meal but I will always revisit for the coffee.

Dear Travelrules Thanks so much for loving our coffee. I love it too. We also have some new options now. But please, please try our food next time too. You can then finish a lovely meal with a freshly baked cake and coffee! Best Janet More

A couple of cakes with icecream, a killer brownie and a mango daiquiri. All were okay, but not outstanding. Around aud$25, so a little pricey for Bali. Service was very slow, although not many inside the restaurant.

This is quite a good café. The coffee is good and the cakes delicious. Meal were fresh and good portion size. Only down side is the service is slow. It took about 45 minutes for our meals to come to our table.

Dear Peter Thanks so much for enjoying our coffee and cakes. I'm glad you had a pleasant meal too but I'm curious that it took so long. On the positive side, all our dishes are made fresh so slow means "slow food", food with integrity. So at least you can be guaranteed that it was made to order, just for... More

While also the most expensive meal we enjoyed in Bali as well...we treated ourselves...it was the most delicious. We wanted to try it out before participating in the the cooking school course run by the restaurant. We also recommend the course. The restaurant has a lovely ambience. Our food was fresh, tasty & delicious... we ate every last bite.

We had been told by fellow Australians that we should visit this restaurant, run by an Australian. We loved the food. The restaurant was clean, the kitchen sparkling. Excellent service with lovely staff. Multiple lunch, dinners, mornings and afternoon teas later, declared our favourite place to eat in Ubud. Kids loved the "Killer Brownie" and the "Lime Tart". Great cocktails.... More

Dear Global Girl Thank you for being so extremely kind with your praise! I'm absolutely beaming that you said we were your favourite place. Come and have a cup of tea with me next time you're in Ubud! Better still, come back without kids to the Ubud Food Festival that we will launch in June. Best Janet More

Owned by the same woman as honeymoon villas and indus this place is not exception. In an amazing multi tiered building overlooking beautiful greenery, the menu is quite extensive. I had a fabulous minced prawn dish, a great welcome to Bali. Cocktails wer great and well presented and gree juice was lovely. There is wifi here too.
