Good but not not Great

The food at Casa Luna is good, very good. The choices are plenty and the layout of the restaurant is awesome. That being said, for the price, the food just doesn't hold up. The weekend brunch is about twice the price of a great deal at Maha or MIngle- not including coffee or tea. It's definitely a... read more

Very welcoming atmosphere with a varied menu. The food is fresh and delicious. We went on a Wednesday night, when the jazz combo plays. It is worth the trip! Quality Indonesian musicians playing soft Brazilian/American jazz, with fresh tasty food on a 4-level dining area above a rushing river...what more could you ask for?

Best coffee in town and food always tasty. Some of the sweet dishes getting pricy but still something for everyone. Service is great and you feel very welcome the moment you walk in. Meals mid range value and ambience is well worth the visit.

We had lunch there and the food was good. The restaurant is a calm and clean place to rest a bit in a busy day visiting Ubud. The desserts were especially excellent.

It was a lovely dinner we had in Casa Luna. They offered Indonesian menu which tastes good and the restaurant ambient is really cosy at night.

We loved casa luna while staying in Ubud. Staff great, happy hour cocktails perfect, and the food is amazing ( especially chicken satay sticks - 12/10 !!! The coffee and cakes are gorgeous !

Casa Luna is known as one of the good restaurants in Ubud. For us, it was just another failed attempt of getting some decent food. The food was edible and that's it. We didn't enjoy it! I wouldn't give it another try!!!

Dear AnccaBancca Thanks so much for your review and I'm sorry you were not impressed with Casa Luna and were served only half decent food. Maybe you can share what you ate or just a teeny bit more info. Not sure why you would go to all that trouble to write a comment otherwise. best wishes Janet More

Casa luna food was average and slightly overpriced. However if you are looking for a place to have some drinks this will be a very nice place.

Dear Miss Y Thanks for kindly saying our drinks are good. But I'm wondering what you think is slightly over-priced about Casa Luna. I have done my research and we are generally great value for money and are one of the few places that serve complimentary home-made bread with all meals. I'm a bit confused. best wishes Janet More

Average experience. This sits on the main road in Ubud, and gets a lot of walk in tourist business just due to location. Atmosphere is nice, wait staff friendly. Food is just ok. We ate a variety of Asian and Indonesian dishes and nothing was bad, but we had better of the same and many other places. They apparently make... More

We visited Costa Luna on a Tuesday my friend and I having just returned from a diving trip and found it to be a gorgeous place with a wonderful cuisine and perfectly attentive stuff. My friend had the seafood paella and I had the garlic lemon fish and shrimp dish. Our meals were perfectly cooked, the natural fresh fresh flavors... More
