We first went to Cafe Wayan for dessert after a disappointing main meal at another restaurant. Our desserts were lovely so we decided to go back for a meal with friends. We share both entrees and main courses in banquet style, although we chose them ourselves. There was a good range to choose from. We ate Indonesian food, as we... More

We really enjoyed eating here while in Ubud. The vegetarian Nasi Campur was awesome (my favorite of the trip) and my husband enjoyed his rice dish. Congrats to Wayan the founder -- she must be an impressive lady to start this restaurant and also own a few hotels. Really cool.

An excellent and relaxing restaurant in Ubud. The atmosphere is great with outside tables surround by green all over. We had one of the best Nasi Goreng rice in Bali.

I love coming to Cafe Wayan the setting is just beautiful, the staff so kind and helpful and I have never had a bad meal here! It is just beautiful being surrounded by the gardens and whether you are there during the day or night it is a stunning place to eat. The food options are endless and it is... More

From the romantic garden setting to the fabulous food and first-rate service, Cafe Wayan is a gem. We can't say enough about this Ubud institution. If you have the time and inclination, sign up for one of their cooking classes. We did, and now make wonderful Indonesian dishes here at home in Canada.

Perfect setting for a romantic dinner in the lush garden of this restaurant. Extensive menu with Indonesian, Thai, European and international food. Extremely friendly staff, serving with a smile. Good value for money and something to be remembered.

We went to the wayan cafe after a recommendation from someone we met on Gili Gede. Restaurant recommendations can sometimes be a little bit hit and miss but this was amazing! The cafe itself doesn't look much from the outside but it extends really far back outside in a beautiful garden. There are little tables and private areas for you... More

When you are in the busy streets of Ubud, you can hide away into the deep gardens of Wayan. They serve amazing food (loved their Gado Gado). The kids can run around. Very friendly staff.
