Perfect place to start

after our flight into Bali and check in at our villa in Ubud we chose to have our first meal here at Warung Saya. The smells from the tiny kitchen amazing and our host passionate and attentive. My wife and I walked past earlier in the day and enquirer about a reservation. We made a booking and placed our orders of the small menu at the request I the chef/owner so he could prepare (from scratch) the ingredients in the meantime. Once we arrived he had a drink whilst waiting then enjoyed two delightful meals and some... More

Be aware, that it is essential to make a table reservation for this unique little restaurant. It only seats seven! While the main attraction of this intimate restaurant is the food that is cooked with love and perfection, the atmosphere, décor and personality of the chef, Amier, all create an unforgettable ambience. Order a glass of Rose wine while you... More

We just came back from dinner at warung Saya and everything was wonderful! The food was absolutely delicious, and the owner is a very kind man. We will definitely go back on our next trip to Ubud. This tiny place made our evening very romantic as well. This little restaurant deserves to be known by all!

We have reserved the table with Mr. Amier by SMS few days before arriving in Bali. We visited on 14 November 6pm for dinner. We had all the mains from the menu, wine and beer. Fabulous! Mr. Amier wasn't well due to his puppy was missing. Still, made effort to host us for the whole evening as prior reservation. We... More

A handful of menu items and you need to reserve and order in advance. Food is carefully hand-made from scratch and the difference shows. There are only a few tables so the feel is very intimate. The food is not classically Balinese but Asian-fusion with Balinese subtlety. A great and interesting place. Our second favorite resto in Ubud. One insight... More

Amazing food!!! Such a good experience, one of the best places we ate in Ubud. We even came back the next night! Approx $8 at most for a dish. 2 tables only in this tiny restaurant so drop in the night before to book!

Not sure why the last person wrote that comment because this is the best food and experiance we have had whilst in Bali. Ahmir the owner is great. He has travelled through Asia and uses different countries food in all his cooking. He makes all his sauces from scratch and doesnt use bottle sauces like most places in Bali. We... More

The entire experience was ruined by the pretentious rude owner, the food was very very average and overpriced compared with other restuarants. We were the only people dining there and know undersand why. There are far better options nearby.
