what a treat, with yoga nearby

I visited Yellow Flower after 7am yoga. Had a turmeric medicinal drink (turned my lips yellow for an hour or so) and the savory wrap--both so fresh and quite delicious. The coffee was also good. All was worth the money. Prices very fair. Chill atmosphere, open air. Comfortable seating. Good... read more

This beautiful little open aired cafe can be found in penastanan, up the 90 odd campuhan steps. It's lush, green, colourful and very peaceful. The food, especially the drinks and the breakfast are delicious. The dinners are fab too but a less variety. Everything tastes beautiful. Try the nasi campur, the kombucha or the breakfast muesli.... Yummmm. We have been... More

Yellow flower cafe has a warm, cosy atmosphere with good world music, almost homemade food, wonderful view and good prices. I enjoyed my visits there.

Yellow Flower has a unique location along the ridge track in Penestanan- far from the road and so quiet and relaxing. Need to get direction if not familiar with the area- either up the flight of steps from the main road or short flight of steps below Bingtang supermarket and along the ridge. Great care is taken to source organic,... More

Yes, when I leave Ubud (with tears in my eyes), and I think of Yellow Flower, this is what I will remember. The view, the curry, and the lovely service. It's a place to have a deep conversation while looking out over a stunning view. Try the Sunday buffet to get a little slice of expat life. The little attached... More

This is an eatery for alternatives. The coffee was good and some energy drink I had was interesting but a once only experience for me. Decided it wasn't a place we wanted to got to for dinner. However the location was good, as it was on the walk to the Bintang supermarket.

The food was really great here, probably some of the better Indonesian/Balinese traditional food I had on the entire island! It's mostly visited by ex-pats and tourists, but I have also noticed that locals don't eat out much in general due to cost. The cafe can be pretty busy at certain times, so try to visit during an off time.... More

For our first night in Bali we went to this little vegetarian restaurant near the Flow Yoga Studio in Penestanan, It was recommended highly to us by our host; a seasoned world-traveler who owns a few homes in the Ubud area. She was absolutely correct, this place is a little jewel located in the middle of a Bali dream. Sitting... More

Oh, this place is in my heart now. Away from the main streets of Penestanan, close to the popular Intuitive Flow yoga studio, is the super-chilled Yellow Flower. It's a simple place in terms of decor, with a couple of really cozy alcoves where you can put your feet up and really kick back. Whenever you walk by this cafe,... More

Good, fresh vegetarian food but not enough spice. I had the candlenut curry, and my husband had the rice pancake sandwich. We shared a side order of kimchi which had zero spice. The walk to the restaurant is pretty, and the cafe is small and cozy and full of yoga-ish folks.
