I was in Ubud and discovered in the afternoon Balawan was playing that evening @ Moko's. I'd never been and that was a mistake. The place is small but perfect for these concerts and to see Balawan again in Ubud was a delight. He is supposed to be playing there on Mondays. Didn't have food, but the Bintang was appropriately... Great atmosphere, very casual, very friendly, wonderful music performed by people that look like they love what they are doing. Reasonable prices, good service, the best blues music in Ubud on a Saturday night. You never know who is going to turn up with a harmonica, guitar, saxophone or just a magnificent voice to sit in with the band. Never... More

Mokos @ mina is a cute cosy little place where some fine guitar playing gets you going. One of Bali's best bluesy bands plays on a Saturday and there is just room to dance. Atmosphere is great cosy and inviting as s the venue. Food? DonT exect gourmet! Fun! Expect it! Drinkns? Stick to the beer! My gin fizz was... More

We had a blast last weekend. Treat burgers for food! tasty cold beers for the thirst and a great blues music for the mind. Moko himself is quite a cool singer an guitar player, nice smooth and certainly bluesy, his younger brother a great entertainer and the mysterious sax player really blows his horn like nobody else on the entire... Visited this place with some friends last nigh for the first time and we were blown away, what an ambience, what a cool music, friendly staff and all greatly prized. I've stayed for about 3 months in bali/ubud now, originally from Europe, exploring the Ubud night life in depth and on many occasions. Everybody is always talking about the jazz... More

Five experienced blues musicians join with guest artists and create one of the best music evenings that you will find in Ubud. Moko's is slightly off the better known streets of Ubud, but is literally a stone's throw beyond the Arjuna Statue at the east end of Jl Raya. Currently they are playing Tuesdays and Saturdays (but not New Year's... More

My husband and I are now staying a long time in Ubud. Every week we go to Moko's cafe. Very nice cafe with a great band of 5 people. They play every thuesday and saturday, starting from 20.00 o'clock. They also have a small menu card. Mr Moko is a very nice man with a great smile. You can see... More

I went to Bali to visit a couple or friends, they told me about this wonderful place that had live music and a great atmosphere. That place was Moko's, when I first got there I got a real good vice of the place, when I entered I felt right at home. It's a cozy little place with great personnel, as... More
