Loved the food

This is a gorgeous setting (probably one of the nicest in Ubud). The traditional Javanese teak wood house is surrounded by gardens and pavilions and you are invited to select your herbs and vegies from the organic garden and have it cooked. Living in Ubud, I have been eating here for the last 2 years with guests and visitors to give them a chance to try some well prepared and tasty Indonesian food at a reasonable price. Consistently good, also Indonesian visitors think it is good, Not as cheap as some local places but less than the more touristy places offering "authentic"... More

This place is amazing. We had been looking for a restaurant serving Balinese and other Indonesian food rather than a hodgepodge of mediocre Indonesian and American/European. This place was truly wonderful. The ingredients are fresh from the farm, the variety is refreshing ( we're going to come back so we can try other dishes) and they are very nice. The... More

We went to this warung for dinner, after reading several great reviews. We were not disappointed in the food, which was really tasty and well presented. We even tried the spicy nasi goreng, strength 2 and it is not for the faint of heart... Apparently, if you manage to eat a full plate of this dish at a strength 5,... More

Our recent dinner here was tasty, cheap and good authentic Balinese food in a pretty garden setting. We arrived about 7pm on a week night and it was almost full minutes later. The outdoor garden tables had already been booked but we sat on the deck, where we could watch the cooks at work. We had local staples including chicken... More

We loved the simple wooden decor and layout and the food. One of the best meals we have had during our short 4 days trip to Bali. They have a vegetable garden at the back of the restaurant but we didnt have time to visit.

This might be my favourite warung in Ubud. The food is really fresh and not at all as fatty as warung food can be. You get big portions, the staff is super attentive and it's beautifully set with a garden in the back. Also many good vegetarian options! I highly recommend the Nasi Kuning and dadar gulung!
