really cheap prices for an authentic local food

best local food restaurant on our trip around bali. The place itself is a big villa like restaurant with a nice coutyard. They offer local food not only for tourist but also for local people and incredible low prices and high quality. Dont go on peak hours!!!

We loved the simple wooden decor and layout and the food. One of the best meals we have had during our short 4 days trip to Bali. They have a vegetable garden at the back of the restaurant but we didnt have time to visit.

This might be my favourite warung in Ubud. The food is really fresh and not at all as fatty as warung food can be. You get big portions, the staff is super attentive and it's beautifully set with a garden in the back. Also many good vegetarian options! I highly recommend the Nasi Kuning and dadar gulung!

From previous reviews we expected much from this warung. We had taken an early morning walk and seen the place where this restaurant grows its own vegetables and herbs which we expected to see with our meal and was another reason for choosing to eat there. The waitresses were miserable and not friendly. We had to ask for napkins and... More

enjoy Indonesian local delicacy in the natural atmosphere. Easy to get there with spacious parking area at the back of the restaurant. Now they are expanding the restaurant at the back yard facing the river, offering natural feel while enjoying your lunch.

When Pulau Kelapa began its legacy it quickly took over many expats position of our most favorite eating spots in the Ubud area. If you liked really great well presented Indonesian cuisine Pulau Kelapa was the place to go to get the best. The restaurant itself is a class act but in a simple sort of way.As a weekly visitor... My husband and I frequented this restaurant twice despite the many many choices in Ubud for eating out. This should itself speak for the quality of the food. The service was excellent and the staff were well trained and pleasant. The restaurant (warung) is laid out beautifully in a very lush green setting. I would recommend the chicken satay with... Came here for dinner with my parents. Mum managed to accomplished level 5 spicy Nasi Goreng (fried rice) challenge and she said it tasted amazing. For those who love spicy food, she highly recommended that! Furthermore, their homemade ice creams are not to be missed. I'd recommend the durian and coconut flavour.

Went to this place on a recommendation from an expat living in Ubud. We wanted to try some local flavors, but have some choice of vegetarian dishes as none of us eat meat. The place is nice and clean with easy to understand menus. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. They prepared some meat - based dishes without the... More

Visited this place each time I was in Ubud, as the food was really good and authentic. Though the street is very near the yard is peaceful. Nevertheless, I do care most about the food which was really excellent. I preferred the place for lunch.
