Romantic, delicious food, great service

My husband and I are visiting from the US and we were looking for a place with great food and one of a kind atmosphere, this had all of that and more. We sat outside where they have private tables across the terrace, their menu is very informational not only about the place but also about Bali. All... read more

went here last trip as trip before (18 months prior) I had walked past and the food smelled amazing, however when we went there for a meal it was not to my liking. I think a lot of the spices were different than I have experienced or maybe it was my choice of dish, but it just didn't do it... More

Visited Sunday evening when every other place looked empty, there were plenty of people enjoying food here. Simple, freshly cooked food served with ice cold beer by smiling staff. What not to like.

I love coffee and was delighted to find Indonesian coffee from Kintamani region being prepared by Indonesians and tasting soooo good! We ate some nibblies and loved them too, the customer service was excellent and the gardens and grounds down to the river were beautiful. They make food from many parts of Indonesia and are 10 minutes from centre of... More

Best nasi goreng I've had as a lover of spice. Thought I'd try level 4 and loved it very much! Decor is nice and the waiting staff were efficient. I had the balinese dessert which I personally didn't care for very much due to personal taste. But otherwise the mains were excellent and well priced for the area.

There is a huge raw food scene in Ubud, which is great for those who enjoy it but sadly a lack of true authentic Indonesian food. I stumbled across this Javanese teak wood house warung (local family-owned business) - absolutely award winning. This is one of my favorite Balinese 'sweets'...Dadar Gulung (grated coconut & brown sugar wrapped in savory skin).... More

We ordered the nasi campur (indoensian mixed rice) and iga bakar sapi (bbq beef ribs - indonesian style). Both are super delicious. Those who love indonesian food (nt balinese) you should come here. However, there were many (house) lizards that roam around the restaurants. So scary! Other than this, I am very pleased with the food and the services provided.... More

This restaurant is very attractively presented, and quiet in comparison with others in the hustle and bustle of of Ubud. If you would like to try Indonesian food, this is a good place to start. Try the beef sate with Madura sauce. Really delicious! A bonus: dishes are all moderately priced. The surrounding gardens are lovely.

Some fantastic examples of traditional Balinese dishes - all very well presented. Flavour sensation! Lovely garden in the back. Highly recommended.

Good place, nice staff. The food was delicious, except a menu i cant remember the name, it a lil bit bland. But I love the ikan bakar, tahu genjrot, wedang uwuh, and es dawet.
