We arrived at 6 pm to take advantage of the view and weren't disappointed . Our driver dropped us at Samaya Villas reception and they suggested we have a look at the rice padi views from their viewing deck while we waited for the golf buggy t,hat transported us down the hill to Swept Away. As soon as we arrived... More

If you are lucky and can get a table overlooking the candlelit river then that is just perfect. Food is excellent with a very good and well thought out menu of both international and local food. We eat here on all 3 nights and were never disappointed. The chef certainly knows what he is doing and the food is both... More

Excellent food and it's hard to beat the atmosphere as the restaurant is by the ayung river. I think you could consider the food "safe" or familiar for westerners meaning that you find something for everything and it's not too spicy for us :) I think they have succeeded in fusing Asian and western styles. But don't come here if... More

We went there for my 30th birthday with my wife and 6 months old daughter. We had several romantic exceptional restaurants to choose from, but Swept Away was the oly one who accepted to have children with us. For special occasions, i would recommend you book the table that is closest to the river, they will also put flowers in... More

Solid quality food and a very varied menu with international and local dishes alike. Pork ribs were very good. Views on the river and sound of the water make the setting particularly good.

This was the best place to have a dinner on my b-day. The hotel restaurant is by a river which make your experience very pleasant and relaxing, The staff was amazingly friendly, helpful and caring! They surprised me with an awesome cake. Food was exquisite and we enjoyed a beautiful indonesian dance during our dinner time there. An 11 out... More

From arrival to departure the service was excellent with special attention for the birthday girl (a very tasty cake and a song from the staff). The food was equally good with some surprising combinations of flavours that worked well (duck with a fish course). A separate menu for the kids was very well received by them and also for them...
