Putu's Wild Ginger is wonderfully deliciously good. I've eaten here several nights and have had a range of dishes, all of which have been exceptional. Putu has a very special talent for mixing flavors, and she is really the secret ingredient to all the dishes. Her husband Nyoman is wonderful, and is a delight in the way he takes care... More

Small little restaurant with quality food. The menu isn't big, but contains recipes with very fresh ingredients. The owner works with his family and likes to make a conversation with his visitors. The restaurant is located a little bit of the Main Street. We almost thought of turning back. Luckily we didn't. Another plus: it isn't to crowdy.

We had a lovely dinner at Wild Ginger! The food was so tasty, they really cook the best for you. We have stayed in Bali for almost 3 weeks and it is by far the best dinner we had. More than the food it is also the lovely story about the humble family who created their restaurant. Wild Ginger is... More

You feel as if you have been invited into their home. The family that own the restaurant are very warm and welcoming. You can tell that much thought has been taken over every detail of the restaurant, from the furnishings to the table settings and menu. The soft soothing music and water feature at the front of the restaurant create... More

Great little restaurant, food was very tasty, It's up a side street off a main road. Also a nice story as to how they created their restaurant.

We have lived in Ubud for four months and tried many many restaurants. Putu's place is way up amongst the best of all of them for good quality food at a good price. Its true that there are cheaper places and you can typically expect to pay around 100,000 per person for a main course, drink and desert at Putus.... More

This place is small! We made reservations when they opened at 4PM by calling in and we were treated to a delicious meal! One thing we've been longing for is the natural wood tables. These tables are cut from lycée trees. The food was amazing! We tried the "everything" plate so we could taste all the Balinese flavor and we... More

My friends and I were brought to Putu’s Wild Ginger after visiting Ubud Centre. And we realized that the restaurant was actually near Ubud Centre, but at one of its quieter corners, which we loved it after a long day. After looking at the menu, we decided to have the recommended Ayam Goreng Kecap and Nasi Campur with ice-cold Bintang... More

We ate here this eve - had come across it on TA but as there's SO much choice we kind of forgot about it until a lady at our hotel mentioned she's eaten there twice. It's really small and up a dark side street but don't let that fool you, you enter into the world of putu and his family,... More
