The food at this place is excellent. They have some good vegetarian choices and it is very very delicious. The ambiance is good, the decor is cosy and welcoming. The price is decent, but just one thing, if I may compare, the portion are minimum, and smaller than other retaurants; you almost need 2 plates to make a dinner portion.

It took us about 40-45 minutes to get our food, but it was understandable (after being informed later) that they were understaffed that evening.

We ate here on 3 consecutive nights because the food is delicious and fairly priced although the portions are on the small side. The chicken mei goreng is tasty at only IRD 25,000 and the spicy tofu with sambal tomato sauce was yummy. The lemon squash and orange squash are must trys. Service is slightly slow but the quality of... More

I pretty much only eat nasi campur while if Indonesia, just figure that's the best way to judge the dedication of the kitchen staff to produce tasty cuisine. The Sag comes thru on all counts. I've never had anyone complain about their choice when we've dined there over the last five or six years and don't foresee them slacking off... More

This is not a place for a great dinner, but it does provide decent food at a fair price. The service is always warm and friendly, burnished with smiles. We had lunch here several times. I liked the red bean soup, hearty and tasty. Also loved the seafood soup...like a laksa with noodles. The broth was very flavourful, but the... More

Really enjoyed the food here, some of the best we' had during a 3 week stay all over Bali. Obviously some very good chefs, we ate here a few times it was that good.

OK. So its Balinese owned. So the staff are not always fully understanding of Westerner requests. And the kitchen buys enough to get by. But not to fulfill every request. But we have been coming for 5 years as the value is great. Never had a dud meal. The girls are sweet & not always 100% understanding but that's Bali.... More
