Good selection of duck dishes with great views of the rice fields. The food is more greasy than I would've liked, but what can you expect from duck

The food was really nice - we had the crispy duck and various dishes, with ice cream for dessert - and excellent value. (Three adults and 2 children and the cost was equivalent to £39GB). The setting is amazing - separate "rooms" set around lily ponds and little streams with fish in. Out the back is a paddy field, part... More

The setting is awesome, with little kneeling tables. Cocktails list was a little bare, but the staff made my friend as he asked. The group complained that their ducks were too small and the food was not that great. I had some seafood but if was swimming in oil. A little overpriced overall for what it was but we had... More

The gardens around the back of the restaurant are well-kept and act as a great setting for your meal. But unfortunately the service was very slow. I appreciate it was a very busy afternoon but there should be enough staff to cope with what is clearly a very popular restaurant! The menu was quite expensive too. If you visit I... More

Had the crispy duck mask campur, duck was Devine but the rest were too fried and oily. Loved it that they gave me a whole big dish of samba and Balinese chili when I asked for chili. Good environment environment for large groups, but sadly this place is swarmed with tourists due to its price.

My husband and I were actually last here October 2013, but the review dates don't let you go that far back. I was trying to research to see if I could find a recipe to make this at home at the states and saw that the Bebek Bengil has only 3 "stars" and was in absolute shock! My husband and... More

The restaurant is an Ubud classic. The restaurant opens up to the lush green outdoors. We requested a table in a private "tea room." The food was rather average, but the location was great. The service was rather lackadaisical. Go for the experience, not the cuisine.

Partner and I went to the infamous DD for dinner due to all the buzz on TA and around town. She was very satisfied with her crispy duck and adds to the many rave reviews. As I do not eat meat I tried the fish cooked in banana leaf. fish was very spicy (to be expected in SE Asia) and... More

Not worth even a try. The duck was too Hot and crispy and we couldn't enjoy it. Quite expensive for a lunch in Bali and not worth it at all.

Poor food. Famous duck is burnt skin and bone patchwork. Prices are high, as well as taxes. Service very bad. It seems that staff are unhappy that someone came.
