The setting of the restaurant was the highlight of our dining experience. My husband and I had created our own little food tour through Ubud and Dirty Duck was on our hit list. We shared a duck plate and I thought the duck and sauces were delicious. So did my husband. The sides were not impressive but then again, we... More

Service and food were poor. Restaurant is huge and only had 10 people on there. Should have been our first clue! Very disappointing experience.

Read about this restaurant in a magazine and decided to pay it a visit. We both thoroughly enjoyed the crispy duck - I find other reviews saying the duck is too crispy/not enough meat a bit ridiculous - it is a deep fried duck!! The different sauces it came with were also very nice. Also, the restaurant is really beautiful,... More

We were really looking for it cause it was highly recommended in some Taiwanese TV show. But it was just soo disappointing! I guess the view was good, but it was dark and we could not see more. The duck, I am well aware that it is supposed to be crispy but for Chris sake, even KFC fried chicken was... More

We went there for dinner on our one-day trip to Ubud and we've ordered duck, which seemed like an appropriate thing to do in such place. The meal wasn't bad but at the same time we've expected a bit more. There was very little meat on the duck so it was pretty hard to taste it. At the same time... More

During our roundtrip on Bali, we decided to pay a visit to the Dirty Duck when we had the evening off. The restaurant was conveniently located opposite of our hotel. The inside of the hotel is stunning with a real rice field in the middle of the restaurant as well as in the back. Consequently there were some mosquitos present... More

Dirty Duck has atmosphere, but the food was really disappointing. The Bali sampler dinner (Nasi Campur) had flavourless dishes and the accompanying duck was so dried the meat was hard to find. The chicken veggie soup was mostly just liquid, again flavourless. So take a peak inside if curious, but don't expect much from the servings...

the dirty duck is a local special dish widely known as a must have in bali, i tried only once but i dont want to eat it any more, it simply kills baby ducks and thats quite oily and heavy. try peking duck sometimes,it's better

We had heard of good recommendations for this Restaurant but were disappointed with the overall quality of the food and service considering the prices which were mid range for Ubud. The best point was probably the ambience of the restaurant but you don't go for that experience.I would not return for another meal.
