Wonderful setting average food

The setting is amazing and very romantic. We were lucky enough to get one of the private table in a corner, seated on cushions. We tried the duck which was very crispy and tasteful but as well very greasy. Too much for me. Service was ok but not that friendly if I compare with the other experiences... read more

We have visited this restaurant in the past and unfortunately this time were very disappointed. The food was really ordinary and over priced. We were seated right out the back and it was very dark so you weren't able to enjoy your surroundings. In my opinion there is much better places in Bali for crispy duck which is a shame... More

Eight of us had one of the private Dining booths overlooking the rice paddies. Services was good but not outstanding. Food reviews were mixed. Pork spare ribs a clear winner the large serving took up a whole plate. Crispy duck ok. Deserts were a standout . This is not a cheap eat option by Bali standards but it is not... More

That's definitely the best crispy duck i ever had, they do it since 1990. So if you are in Ubud you should definitely give it a try you will not regret it! We also had a chocolate cake a dessert which was damn tasty as well. The restaurant it self got a stunning garden which completes the great experience.

This place is lauded as a must visit when in Ubud. On arrival you can see why, it's beautiful. However, we pre-ordered the smoked ducked and when it arrived, it was just mush. You couldn't tell what was meat, bone or organs and it left us feeling ill afterwards. The staff were really disinterested throughout the night putting us slightly... More

Suggested as a "must visit" restaurant by a driver from our hotel we thought we'd check this place out. As other reviewers have noted the setting is great - beautifully laid out with great views. Lovely! However that's about where it stops. This place is definitely dining out on it's label as the original duck restaurant in Ubud. The food... More

Great ducks, love the crispy skins and tender meats. We enjoyed the ambience of being close to a natural setup. Prices are on the high side, otherwise we would have enjoyed the lunch 10/10

The duck is the best ive ever tasted and the setting is great. Staff could be a bit more friendly and tentative.

Went here as huge group (26), food came fast, food was great. No complaints! We pretty much all ordered the signature dirty duck so can't really comment on anything else on the menu. We all enjoyed it. Yes they deep fry the crap out of it so it makes it look like there's not much meat on it but once... More
