Bali meets Italy. Art meets food. Tradition meets passion. Italian tradition and innovation in the magic Balinese context is what we are. Our Handmade Gelato is produced with the best raw materials available in the market. Milk and cream are our main allies in high-quality gelato production, together with organic fresh eggs, white-cane sugar, cocoa, raw chocolate, Italian hazelnuts and natural pistachio. In addition, we use the great local fruits of Bali, the exciting natural aromas of vanilla, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and coffee with its aromatic notes. With these ingredients, we are able to offer excellence. Our Handmade Gelato has a low fat content—fruit water ices which naturally have no fat. We do not use artificial aromas, nor food colourings, nor anything else that is artificial. Preservatives are absolutely prohibited. Our Handmade Gelato follows raw-material recipes and procedures for production, storage, and sales that are all strictly documented and adhered to, ensuring the highest level of quality control. In addition, we include one essential ingredient: Passion.

Devine sorbet

This is real good stuff, they know how to make smooth silky and well balanced sorbets. They are pricey, but worth it. Try the lime sorbet, not sweet, just with the right acidity - perfect as digestif sorbet.

Located not in the busiest road in Ubud make it always in my bucket list. I love their pistachio gelato in cone. You can try their gelato for free before decide what taste do you really want. Their cookies also as good as the gelato.

We grabbed a cone in a little cafe' up Bismarck street which claimed to serve Gaya ice cream. It was very average and inferior to other fresh ice creams you can find in the center of Ubud. It was also very very overpriced. I conclude that the claim was fake. The owners of Gaya should publish the list of their... More

My aunt who lives in Ubud recommended this place and I finally become one of the fans. It located near Baliwood, next to former Gaya restaurant. There are more variety in here compare to their hut in Sanur. For me, the vanila, hazelnut and pistacio are the best. Cones available in gluten free and original, both taste nice. They also... More

Delicious full flavour creamy artisanal ice-creams. Makes you want to have more. Don't be put off by the closed resort. The ice-cream store is open on the right. Worth the little ride out of town.

There is nothing like Gaya. As soon as you enter, you smell the freshly baked cones. My fav combination is chocolate flavor with a fruit flavor. They do not have a lot of flavors but all are worth it. Fruit flavors depend on the season of course. But if you are lucky try the sirsak, mangoosteen, mango or passionfruit. The... More
