Excellent!! One of the best sushis I ever had. I have been twice and will be back again if I go to Bali for vacation.

If you are a lover of Japanese food then you can't go wrong at this small and stylish restaurant in the heart of Sanggingan. Everything about the place is delightful: garden, decor and service and the food is exceptional. We ordered the set menu and were not disappointed as every course was delicious and was served with the same eye... More

Great value for money, go with the set menu as that will pretty much cover most of their a la carte menu. Overall a great little place for Japanese food without the astronomical prices that may come with an experience like this. The only let down was the beef tataki which was a bit over cooked and hence a little... More

A cosy Japanese restaurant that will bring a smile to your face once you try their food. The first impression I had when I stepped into Minami is quality and service. Everything from staff service to food plating did not disappoint. Minami takes good care to present their food beautifully and the food quality and taste is top notch. My... More

I was recommended this place by some friends. I have to say it was not bad. Service was good, place is beautiful, but the food for me was average.

this place used to be fantastic. We went back after two years and were completely dissapointed by its low quality. The menu is the same but it was not the same. Pork was fatty, tuna tasteless, desserts with no flavour, no coffee, portions ridiculously small and overpriced. The place is beautiful still but the waiter told us owner changed....maybe this... We had lunch at Minami - it is located a few steps from the famous Naughty Nuri restaurant. We were shown a table that faces an internal garden - peaceful and quiet. We were given the alacarte menu, but asked for the set lunch menu instead. The set lunch cost Rp300K each, but was well worth it. Lunch started with... More

We made our way back to Minami for the second time in two years. We actually had the restaurant to ourselves for the first hour or so. The menu is easy to understand, and includes 3 potential fixed menus. We decided to order a la carte. The sizzling prawns & the agadashi tofu were a great start. We then had... More

I have been to Ubud many times and never thought I'd get legitimate Japanese food here! I just came back from a delicious dinner at Minami this evening where I "splurged" and picked the set dinner menu called the "Special". At risk of giving too much away, here's the full menu and what I thought of each one 1. Assorted... More

Very nice meal here in what looks like an old colonial style building. There is a nice garden out the back but for some reason they were not allowing guests to sit out there. Nevertheless the food was delicious and quite inventive. Steamed snapper was the highlight dish for me, my partner liked the carpaccio of tuna. I lament the... More
