Another hidden gem!

I like to seek out these out of the way, if the street places. This place is just off Ubud main road, stumbled upon it late one night having just arrived in bali. It is a very simple, beautiful, authentic Balinese atmosphere. Actually very romantic with oil burg lamps at each table, steps up to... read more

Solo diner friendly. Beautiful garden setting with oil lamps and frangipani. Wifi works. Indonesian food is beautifully presented and a cut above the norm. Generous servings of delicious food and very reasonably priced especially considering the garden setting. Particularly recommend the nasi campur. While this is a staple on most menus theirs is amazing, so many small dishes served in... More

Welcomed by lovely staff. Try the roast suckling pig (babi guling) or whole smoked slow cooked duck (bebek batutu) set menu for 2 which must be ordered 24 hours in advance. Delicious and plentiful!!! (could feed 4)

I went here with my boyfriend and my parents for our last meal in Ubud. The setting is beautiful and so quiet. We were seated near kadek the owner, who came over and gave us advice on what to order. For starters we got kadeks soup, samosa, cheese pastries, corn fritters and coriander prawn. All of it was amazing!! For... More

Walking up the flower covered garden steps to this restaurant is a lovely beginning to a great experience. The garden is beautiful, very nicely lit at night. It was a magical setting with gentle gamelan music and excellent service. I had the fish of the day, a lovely fresh kingfish, quite tasty. All of my friends adored their meals. We... More

The food was alright hubby had the avocado curry which he enjoyed. I had a pizza I split with our daughter it was sort of flavourless. Like chef boyardee pasta sauce on bread with a bit of cheese and undercooked veggies. Near the street was noisy but our waitress was very nice and since we were the Only ones in... More

One of the best restaurants during our stay in Ubud. Great food, nice atmosphere and personalized service. The place is nice decorated with gardens all over the place. Try the Avocado Bali!

As we assented the stairs to this cornor restaurant each step was lined with rows of frangipanis and candles. So pretty. We chose the outdoor area as it was such a beautiful night but the inside was very attractive and comfortable too. We were a group of 5 so we decided to share entrees and mains. This way we covered... More

Enjoyed dining here as a solo traveler. Evening lighting is lovely and creates a magic garden ambience. I had a fish dish which I found to be flavourful and well cooked and of a reasonable portion. For dessert a scoop of the homemade ice cream which though a pretty small serve was very tasty. Service was a bit forgetful that... More
