Nice, great live band

Great live band. It is honestly a bit overpriced, especially because the extra taxes addedat the end. Place is not nice sthetically speaking considering allthe beautiful place in ubud. but is a good place, for sure.

We visited the laughing Buddha 2 nights in a row as we loved it so much! The food was outstanding, I had the lamb kebab, it was to die for!! And I was drinking the pineapple and watermelon mojitos which were 2 for 1 during happy hour. The band was really good on both nights, it's quite loud though which... More

Well I was looking forward to go to the laughing Buddha Had it booked, turned up to a place with no air conditioning and cigarette smoke so it was not comfortable. Music was incredibly loud for a small area. Some people say it's the sister place to the Jazz Cafe.... Believe me it's NOT.....must be a sister from another Mr😜... More

This is a cute little place with very pleasant helpful staff and lush cocktails. I tired the lychee and lemongrass martini and enjoyed it immensely! Tapas for dinner and to be honest, this was the most filling tapas I've ever eaten. Couldn't fit anything else in afterwards! Would definitely recommend for food, drinks and laughter :-)

We were tempted to give this a try because of a few Indian dishes on the menu. So in the given context, it was average in all departments. (Visited in December 2012)

Had a ball at this place, live band and good drinks. They gave us happy hour all night and seemed to smash many of the watermelon mohito. These where great! We had a few tappas off the menu which where also good. Drank all night for two people and the bill came to 900k great value and fun for the... More

The band is excellent. Unfortunately the drinks are very overpriced - a Cuba Libre for RP 125,000 is ridiculous. Didn't eat so can't comment on the food.

This place is great for several reasons. First of all, they have live music. It's so much fun to listen to the local musicians. The staff are very friendly and there are good vibes at this place. The cocktails are good (quite pricey though) and they can make them double strong if ask with a big smile. Also, if you're... More

We loved going to the laughing Buddha bar and really appreciated all the wonderful bands they have there. On New Years Eve we arrived at 8pm and were told all table had been reserved but one. The waitress informed us that for 500 000 IDR we could enjoy unlimited food and drink- and we confirmed this with a second waitress... More

Cool little place on Monkey Forrest Road. We have had tapas here on many occasions and the food is always excellent and well priced. Great place to sit and "people watch" during the day. At night time they have live bands and the music is great - gets the people in.
