A great stop off on the Campuhan walk. Try to get a hut as its so different to sitting at the tables. The orange juice was so tasty an sweet. the Banana Pancake with honey is also delicious. A great place to recharge for the walk back to ubud.

liked the warm, friendly, tailor-made service from the Owner/Cook and the provision of authentic tasty, wholesome, traditional Balinese cooking. It had been highly recommended to us and we enjoyed the food and interacting with the lady. No nasty side-effects. However, it is furnished to a basic standard in a typically Balinese-home environment and a bit tricky to find. Well worth... More

Kecak Cafe is located on Jl Hanoman, Pandang Tegal, almost halfway down the road on your right side. Not easy to find as it is located in a small alley way, so look for the big sign! It is not a fancy restaurant but it will give you the warung feel of Ubud like it was 20 years ago. The... More

Cafe kecak is easy to miss. Located about 300m down hanoman from jl. Ubud you'll see a yellow vertical sign with "KECAK" and a menu at the entrance of a small passageway which leads to the warung. Now you know how to find it, go have some great food! The price is modest and the food is great, although my... More

We were perusing the menu when the owner told us to come & eat. So we did! Great curry! She even whipped out her coconut grinder to show us that she makes everything from scratch! I'd totally go back!

Cheapest in Bali and yet the best food, if you don't mind the simple ambience. Ask for Made, the lady owner. She speaks English. The chicken with ham and cheese is heaven. So is the grilled spare ribs.

After a tiring walk along the shopping area at Jl Hanoman, we find our way to Kecak Cafe, a quiet little cafe hidden between shops along Jl Hanoman. The cafe may look a little run down but the food was delicious. The banana apple pancake and spring roll was freshly made and tasted great that we ordered seconds. We also... More

Gets overlooked because its not trendy with live music and happy hour, but the food is the real deal. The owner is also the head cook, with good english. Sometimes she picks the vegies fresh for the sauces before she starts on your food. The pork spare ribs were godly and the portions were just right.

My partner and I ate here. We waited over an hour and a half for our food to arrive, which we usually understand in some circumstances in Asia having travelled for 8 months, when we are told its busy or we can see there are many dishes to prepare, neither was the case. We had only 4 people waiting before... More
