Now a disaster

This use to be a favorite location but now the food and service fails in all aspects. The owners need to focus on staff training and/or replacement. After waiting a long time for menus the food (omelette) finally comes cold with un cooked toast and then when asking waiter for salt and pepper the... read more

Went with my girl on a delightful almost 8km walk through the rice fields north of Jl Raya Ubud We stopped at this place towards the end for breakfast The menu is identical to the place with the same name on Jl Penestanan near Alchemy Service is pleasant and friendly The seating is quite nice with views over the rice... Described as "Experimentation Station for Farming and Food Processing" , this open air restaurant sits beautifully amid the paddy fields. The walk there is not too strenuous but awash with stunning photo opportunities. They are dedicated to "growing chemical free vegetables & rice " and it really tastes like it. Whether you go simply for a fruit juice or coffee... More

Great healthy food, reasonable prices, gorgeous setting. We spent a couple of rainy Ubud afternoons sitting here enjoying freshly squeezed juices and yummy organic food surrounded by rice paddies. Bliss!

Walking out to Sari Organik is half of the experience. Leaving the busy streets to walk through the rice paddies feels like a world away. The service is friendly and quality of the food is very good. We ordered the Pizza with Chicken, Chicken Schnitzel wrap and Satay Chicken. The food came out in under 10 minutes. Would also highly... More

We went to Sari Organik on a recommendation from our hotel. From the main road, it was a pleasant 20 minute walk through paddy fields and a peaceful neighborhood of small houses and shops. I'm usually dubious about organic claims, though I'm not one to be picky about this. My main criteria for food is that it looks and tastes... More

It took my husband and I about..15-20 mins walk to reach this place. It was worth it because we passed beautiful paddy fields, quaint houses and other cafes as well. The view from the cafe was so pretty.Especially when you go there just before sunset. The food was healthy and I love the array of juices. The prices were reasonable as well.I had their sunrise... Cafe Pomegranate looked pretty desolate (great view though) so we went on to Sari Organik (called something else). Kids had pizza and guacomole (nearly $5 for a tiny portion) and they were happy but our gado gado and longtong were so bland I could barely eat! only a few tables had views. Should have tried one of the other places... More
