Great place to have lunch

We came here with a group for lunch and the food was awesome and the service very attentive. I had chicken curry and beef rending with flatbread wok fried kangkung and Asian veggies. The view from the patio is awesome!

We visited Indus for lunch and we had high expectations given the reviews (we decided to ignore the negative feedback). The view definitely makes this restaurant a stand out. The ambience and decor were faultless. Staff, compared to other establishments in Bali were lukewarm. Compared with numerous other restaurants we'd eaten at in Ubud, Indus was sadly disappointing. Somehow it... More

As other reviewers have said, the location is probably the best feature of this restaurant, perched above the rain forest. The food was also excellent, with great local and a fairly decent selection of international food as well. Recommended.

I just returned from a retreat in Bali with 15 people and Indus was one of our go to restaurants. Always great food with amazing fresh flavours and they cater for a wide range tastes for all ages. The view and ambience is amazing. Happy to do separate billing for large groups. Can not fault them. WE will be back... More

I always return to Indus when I go to Ubud. The food is great and very reasonably priced but the view is to die for. Overlooking the jungle and stream on a clear day you get glimpses of the volcano. The decor is elite Balinese and the staff are always on hand to assist. They also provide your driver with... More

Our driver delivered us to Indus on arrival in Ubud, before we checked in to our accommodation, as it was late and we hadn't eaten lunch. We were awestruck with the location and the views, perched on the edge of the ridge with views to the valley below. The restaurant itself was also beautiful, with gorgeous pillars and white linen... My daughter and I had a day trip to Ubud last week. After seeing the sights we arrived at Indus for a very late lunch. It was around 3.30 pm and the staff were setting up for a busy dinner session. Even at this odd time, the staff were very obliging. We had three different small plates, including the Balinese... More
