We loved the Indus Restaurant in Ubud. There were quite a few Balinese and Indonesian dishes, along with the European dishes which seem to be mandatory for upscale restaurants in Bali. The local food which was excellent and beautiful on the plate, but the service was uneven. The first time there I ordered a Balinese specialty, We waited a long... More

The view is breathe taking, the ambiance is excellent, the staff were extremely nice even for Balinese standard. Everything we ordered we shared except desert. It was delicious. Honestly speaking was so satisfied with everything that I did not even look at the bill when I paid. Strongly suggest to make reservation to get a table with great view.

This resteaurant was recommended to us by our hotel. We came, saw, tasted and were a bit disapoined. Lets run trough and start with the positive: Service: superb! Nothing but friendly staff. Excellent! Venue: nice, clean venue with good atmosphere, however we came for dinner when it was dark so the view eloped us. Food: average compared to what we... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by the hotel staff so we gave it a go for dinner. It was described as having good local food with great panoramic view. No arguments about the food. It was not out of the ordinary but the dishes were tasty. The service was also very good. The panoramic view does not come into... More

An oasis in the surrounds of Ubud - just out of the main part of town and close to Penestaran. The outdoor tables have a front and centre view of the valley - totally devoid of anything man-made and utterly peaceful. The menu is much the same as its sister restaurant Casa Luna in the main part of town and... More

We loved this dining experience. Awesome views dining on the terrace, wonderful ethnic food and loads of ambience. Only negative is the bathroom is downstairs and the handrail was wobbly. Maitre D was superb. Is a new favourite.

This is worth going to for the view alone! We sat down stairs on the balcony and would recommend this to the upstairs that is noisy. The food was delicious but the view jaw dropping and spectacular. Make sure you go before sunset to capture the view. We went at 5.30 for this reason and is worth it. Definitely recommend... More

The view is fantastic. Tjampuhan view is always the best. The staffs are nice and friendly but the food is not like what we should get what we pay. I had Nasi Campur which was not even delicious, it reminds me of so many friends of mine recommended this place because they had good nasi campur, but when I had... More

Dear Missprisi, I'm sorry you were disappointed by our Nasi Campur. You're right, most people rave about it. If you come back I would love to offer you a complimentary Nasi Campur so that you can see just how good it can be. Janet More

The views are as good if not better than you expect. The food was delicious and quickly delivered to our table. Cold drinks and beautiful views; a great place to sit back and relax.
