If you want a break from the busy streets of Bali, this is the place to go. We didn't come here for the food, but the tranquil and peaceful view. The staff were super friendly and let us dry off with their tablecloths (My friend and I were on our way to Tegenungan Waterfall when it started to pour. We... More

We just have a drink on the restaurant. The outdoor seating is nice and drinks are served fast. Too bad we did not have a chance to try their food. Maybe next time.

This is my 3rd time to Indus. I liked the food the first 2 times (note, I have not been here in 8 months), but this time the food was HORRIBLE. I almost returned it to the kitchen. I ordered the lamb rending and it came out just medium warm, as if it had already been prepared but just heated... More

I went to Indus in two occasions, the first time was just to check it out after I read Janet's book and I found the setting is classy and elegant and the food was my favourite everyday Indonesian fares made into elegant and well presented meals. The second time I was there I took my daughter and her mother in... More

I have come to Indus often on regular trips to Ubud. The view is unbeatable looking of the valley and never fails to make me feel at peace with the world. The drama of the setting coupled with the soaring, inspired architecture adds of luxurious ambience. But the food is inconsistent ranging from really good to poor, even for the... More

Some said it has gone downhill. No. Disagree. Coming in still feels like stepping into a Balinese painting. Great view. An oasis of beauty and peace from ubud's hub and noise. I still enjoyed (after 4 years absence) its ambience. Our food is good. It is not the cheapest but at about £8 a head (no alcoholic drink by choice)... More
