Wonderful view. Ask for a table outside!

We enjoyed this evening. The view across the valley is extraordinary and the food was good. Cocktails were moreish too. Service was attentive. The hype surrounding this restaurant was excessive but we still had a very good thing time and enjoyed the meal.

If one could create a restaurants on views only, this would be it. Every year i fall for those views. Then I sit down and I still like my table, then the staff comes.... already it doesn't hold up, friendly but clumsy, then the menue looks nice, the prices look high, then I try to enjoy the views and then... Stopped in for lunch and was met by an outstanding staff. Sat on the terrace overlooking the valley of rice fields. What a stunning view! We both ordered the Bali Beef plate which came with the tender beef cubes in a bowl of delicious sauce. The long beans tasted of lemongrass and coconuts and were superb. The rice cake or... More

Great place for groups we had a party of 8 and here is a great happy hour from 5-7. Cocktails were Devine, try the piña colada and the featured cocktail, well worth it. The chocolate mousse was to die for, and as a pescaterian I was happy to see a whole page of fish specials! Everyone really enjoyed their food... More

Had a fab seat by the edge of the terrace and it was gorgeous. View of rice fields are beautiful and building is really pretty. Drinks were yummy and strong. Didn't have the food, but will next time!

This dinner was very disappointing, we have been a few times in the past and were very happy but not this time. The service was poor, the staff not friendly, one staff member behind the counter was continually clearing his throat (snorting) while we were eating. It was quiet when we were dining and many staff rostered on who were... More

This was my third time coming to Indus and it did not disappoint! We sat on the terrace overlooking the beautiful river valley and jungle. We received complimentary welcome tapas and the food was all delicious. Service was excellent and there was a great band playing with the opportunity to dance. We had a lot of fun. Highly recommended.

Fantastic views of the valley below but the food was nothing but average. The complimentary crackers were stale, smelt musty and were tough. I consider the food here below par for the prices charged. A restaurant must have more than a great view to gain a good reputation and return custom. Won't be coming back here again.

We had a very pleasant lunch at Indus recently (Dec 2014). From Google Maps I had thought it was between the Campuhan steps and the Bintang supermarket...ooops not quite! Had quite a hike up the hill! But wasn't too bad. I had a nice Rendange (moderately sized) and a delicious ginger beer / lime juice. Lovely service, great atmosphere and good... More

My wife had western chicken & I had an Indonesian vegetarian rice with veggies dish. Our first meal in Ubud and we were quite satisfied. More flavor than the meals we had in Seminyak.
