The food was very good but we went twice to this restaurant because of the view overlooking a small valley. With the breeze and the green scenery, this was a wonderful place to spend a couple of hours in the afternoon

The food here is very, very good. Quality produce cooked in great style. There are western selections for the less adventurous. The view across the river is spectacular.

On 11 July of this year my wife and I were married at the Indus. A couple of trips to Ubud, many emails, and a few phone calls were required to organize everything. The staff were wonderfully helpful and very good at every turn, whether in person, via email, or over the phone. Although Indonesian is not really my favourite... More

We had a late lunch at Indus at the suggestion of our driver. The setting was wonderful and due to the lunch crowd mostly finished we managed to get a set on the terrace overlooking the river and valley, with Mt Agung making an appearance now and then through the clouds. The service was good the food delicious. Four adults... More

One of the longtime foody bucket list destinations in Bali disappointed us on two occasions .... Overcooked rice. (Everything) sparse portions of the hero produce in the dish.... clumsy seasoning unfriendly old school staff with poor communication skills the place is far too dark and relies too much on the the incredible view Tacky and disappointing .....

Arrived here on recommendation as everywhere in Ubud was booked. A very large restaurant with seats outside at the back. They say the view is excellent but and night you can't see anything so that was a bit of a let down. Anyway, food was really good and the service really good. We had drinks, two courses and a bottle... More

Just got back from our dinner at Indus. My wife and two children had a great night. We all ordered local type dishes and loved them. Nasi Campur and Nasi Goreng. Both very well done. Staff very friendly and had lots of time for my boys, they made us feel very welcome as a family indeed. I've read a few... More

This is the second time I have eaten here! Both times (several years apart) have been very good! This time I had paella and it was great! The view across the valley is spectacular and the service is very good. On top of that -- great price!

It was our taxi driver who recommended Indus which is slightly outside Ubud but well worth the effort ! We went for family dinner and the staff were all great, varied menu, lovely atmos and location with great food. Kind of tradition looking building over two floors this really is recommended for great value for money quality food. Want to... More

Dear TpotGlasgow, I'm delighted that your taxi driver sent you to Indus, and thrilled that you enjoyed everything about our restaurant. I'm guessing that you can't come back right now, but I do hope you'll come back next time. Janet More
