We had a lovely relaxed dinner here. There is obviously a very nice vista from the restaurant in the day time, but you can still see it enough at night to get the feel of the view, and the decor of the restaurant make for a lovely setting too. The quality of the food is good, and very elegantly presented.... More

My wife and I had lunch here last weekend. The view over the Indus River valley is spectacular. Our lunch was excellent, service was pleasant and quietly efficient. We lingered over glasses of Balinese rose and enjoyed the view and the calm, away from the bustle of Ubud. The restaurant wasn't busy, so we felt no pressure to leave. Insects... More

Excellent for lunch but watch the mozzies at night. Great food and ambience and a view to kill. Loved it and we went more than once.

Back in Ubud after 14 months absence, this time with my two twentysomething children. Luckily we were staying up near Indus so it was easy to walk there, which we did, twice. Both times were as good as ever. I must say, however, that this is the fifth time I have been to Indus and each time the menu has... More

The Indus was recommended to us by a friend for a relaxing lunch and a great view of the Ubud countryside. We were not disappointed. The entrance featured many paintings, the restaurant opened into a wide space, the terrace at the end of the restaurant. The restaurant was very quiet and had an open air ambience. Service for staff was... More

We had delicious apéritifs based with Watermelon juice - we tried the tapas which were just so full of flavour and so delicate ! We both had the fish in banana leaf which was just fantastic! Have the strawberry dacquiri. Have two. The food here is quite delicious, fresh and tasty. But the best part is the location and view. Enjoy the sound of the river rushing by. I always have to come here at least once when I'm in Ubud.

Smoked duck (order the day before) was delicious, but you will need one each - they're not very fat ducks! Pancakes for dessert were out of this world! Excellent fishcakes too! Terrace location lovely, and live music gave great atmosphere.
