When I lived in Ubud years ago, we would come here for the late night wine and cheese with other fellow expats. One night I ordered the Swedish meatballs. WOW! So good in a "comfort food" sort of way. I returned to Ubud last May and went straight away and ordered the meatballs again. Just as good as I remembered,... More

We had lunch here and it was cute, but a little run down. Food very average but very peaceful (accross the football field from) the hussle and bussle of Monkey Forest Road. It was a little hot inside so I would think morning and late afternoon would be better.. We think the hot asian food was better than the western.

Just different enough to make you think that you might be at home somehwere, but facing the soccer/all purpose field with the sound of the barong and the life of the village. Great cheeses, soups, salads, mains and a good place to pick-up wine.

A pleasant enough place to watch the world go by with free wifi looking across the soccer oval. Mixed fruit juice was actually pretty yummy.

We went on a Sunday around lunch time. We were the only customers. The coffee took 15 minutes to arrive. We waited 45 minutes for the food. The eggs, the toast, the meat, everything was cold. Except the mash potatoes. Those were piping hot! As we were leaving I commented to my friend that my stomach felt a little funny.... More

If you want a nice sandwich and a beer, or in my case, fresh fish, salad and some mashed potatoes and a beer, then this is a good place to visit. Obviously the menu is more extensive than I've made it out to be but the food I've had has been good and I enjoyed the atmosphere which was laid... More
