A place that has live gigs every evening, tantalizing food and a sublime ambience. Highly recommended if you are looking for a chilled out evening with some live music. The burger and pork ribs are out of this world.

I have enjoyed going to the Jazz Cafe in Ubud over the past few years, but went last night and found that smoking is now allowed inside after 10pm. It was uncomfortable for the non smokers and some of our group left early because of it. If you are a person who doesn't enjoy passive smoking, give this place a... More

Lots of expats. More expensive than other restaurants but at least you can get a decent glass of red wine. The appetizers were fabulous. Better off doing a few of those and avoiding the mains. I heard they have a new chef which could be a reason. Rock hard carrots, grissely beef tenderloin. Stacked eggplant and zucchini appie saved the... More

Ordered a large Bintang for 48,000. Bill comes with a 10% tax and 2,880 service charge? Total 55,680 and kept 320 change.

Visited with group of friends, greeted by a very grumpy lady, who looked most unimpressed at having five fun women walk in the door, even though we'd reserved a table and the place only had 4 other guests when we arrived. Cocktails didn't have any alcohol taste, and food servings were tiny. Band was ok, enjoyed dancing the night away.... More

We went on a Wednesday and it was unfortunately very quiet( 8 people in the place), so atmosphere was a little quiet. The band were good though and played some really good stuff. Food was ok. I am sure this place would be awesome on a busy night. Nice place and will return when back in ubud.

My group (two couples) visited this amazing little cafe on two occassions during our stay in Ubud. Not knowing quite what to expect, they managed to hook us from the very first visit. We were lucky to first encounter this magical place on their famous Salsa Night. The energy, the music, the lively crowd were all entrancing. Our second visit... More
