We had been looking forward to going to the Jazz Cafe, expecting the combination of good food and music. However, we found that it was a bit of a let down in the food area, overpriced and a bit ordinary in terms of quality and choice. The entertainment was a female vocalist that failed to impress, but there is different... More

Visited in December 2014 with friends. The place initially was empty but picked up once the music started. In a short while, it was full with no place to sit. Food was great....the perfect accompaniment to the lively music. We were there swaying to the tunes for 3 hours & did not even realise it! Would definitely visit again! :)

Great live music. It was salsa night and the band was amazing - very tight. It was a lively and fun night. The food was a little more westernised and a little more pricey than the other places we ate but delicous and presentation was spectacular. Ubud has a International Jazz Festival every August. Salsa is very very popular in... More

It it wasn't for the band, I wouldn't go back here again. The restaurant was not busy but the service was absolutely slow with having to be reminded to bring certain drinks. I ordered a simple banana juice but after half an hour had to ask them again. They returned later to let me know that they had no more... More

Loved that we could choose our table when we did our online booking...great idea! You can sit outside, inside, in the pavilions, in booths or near the band. The night we booked, a well known Indonesian jazz musician was booked to play. It was clear while booking that there would be a cover charge which we were more than happy... More

We attended the Ubud Jazz Cafe based on a recommendation from a friend and were not disappointed. We had dinner for our 40 wedding guests as an ice-breaker the night before our wedding and were seated outside as per our request. The staff were welcoming and in particular the manager was very friendly and helpful. Our food was wonderful. It... More

Went to the Jazz Cafe for a few drinks and live music, and the Cafe did not disappoint. We ended up spending most of our night here dancing and enjoying cocktails. A must stop in Ubud.
