Chill out time !

Just been to Jazz Cafe tonight. Sat outside with lovely Balinese Jazz Music. Interesting. Tried roast guava and salad feta cheese, chocolate mouse, 3 cocktails and ginger and lemongrass tea. Total cost RP566,666 Recommend a night out if you have nothing to do.

We saw this place listed in Lonely Planet and had to check it out. We went on a Thursday night and a band called Dee Dice was playing! They were amazing!! The female lead vocalist has such a beautiful voice, and she was fun too!! The cafe was very nice and the bathrooms were clean and updated! This place is... More

We went on a Thursday night and I think we saw Massive Soul (or that's what the night is called)? Anyway - brilliant night!! The band was fun, funky and brought a smile to your face. They pulled up other musicians at the venue to partake and sing a song. Brilliant and fun night. Food is okay.

Great music, nice ambience, good service, decent value for money as far as drinks are concerned. Food unfortunately not that good but ok.

We arrived a bit late unaware about their early closing time. We got about 40 min of live music. They were talanted but a tad unprofessional where as sometimes it felt more like a intern frat party than a band having a performance. At times they more of less screamed into the microphone as a bunch of people out singing... More

We had been looking forward to going to the Jazz Cafe, expecting the combination of good food and music. However, we found that it was a bit of a let down in the food area, overpriced and a bit ordinary in terms of quality and choice. The entertainment was a female vocalist that failed to impress, but there is different... More

Visited in December 2014 with friends. The place initially was empty but picked up once the music started. In a short while, it was full with no place to sit. Food was great....the perfect accompaniment to the lively music. We were there swaying to the tunes for 3 hours & did not even realise it! Would definitely visit again! :)

Great live music. It was salsa night and the band was amazing - very tight. It was a lively and fun night. The food was a little more westernised and a little more pricey than the other places we ate but delicous and presentation was spectacular. Ubud has a International Jazz Festival every August. Salsa is very very popular in... More

It it wasn't for the band, I wouldn't go back here again. The restaurant was not busy but the service was absolutely slow with having to be reminded to bring certain drinks. I ordered a simple banana juice but after half an hour had to ask them again. They returned later to let me know that they had no more... More
