Ideally located next to the football field in central Ubud on Jalan Dewi Sita (just off Monkey Forest Road), Tutmak has consistently gained popularity since opening its doors in a smaller space across the road in 1994. Over the years, maintaining our basic concept of good coffee, fresh food and home-style atmosphere has time and again won over new fans and brought back loyal regulars, both local and international.

Delicious Gado-Gado

I came here to try Gado-Gado and it was delicious. For a drink I took Lemongrass & Ginger fresh juice and was the way I like it - little spicy thanks to ginger. Food is well presented and looks very fresh. Service very good!

There are hundreds of places to eat in Ubud, but we were consistently happy with the food at Tutmak. Good, fresh juices, Gado-Gado, tender tuna steaks perfectly cooked, balsamic chicken breast to die for, great selection of vegetables. Try the cinnamon rolls - yum!

Had a late breakfast at Tutmak recently after having this place recommended and was not disappointed. The food was cheap and very tasty. 43000rp for breakfast special - huge plate of scrambled eggs, brown toast, hash browns, bacon, fresh fruit and tomato. 24000 for 2 boiled eggs, brown toast with jam and fresh fruit. The lattes were some of the... More

There are tons of restaurants in this street serving far better food for lower prices. My expensive tuna steak was served bloody when asked to be well done, and the mashed potatoes were of such a quality you figure they had been made in a bathtub. The owner refused to accept criticism even though a full page on the menu... More

Beer is cold and the pork parcels are tasty. Service was a bit slow to order but food arrived promptly once ordered.

I have been spending 6 months in Ubud every winter for the last 10 years and Tutmak has been one of my favourite restaurants. I love their breakfasts and always have my fish and chips fix every Sunday. Tonight I went with my girlfriend and her meal (stir fried noodles) was overcooked and inedible and we sent it straight back.... More

Tutmak is in my Top 3 places in Ubud to chill out either alone or with friends. I especially like sitting upstairs where there's a view over the playing field and the traffic noise is reduced to a minimum. You might even catch a nice breeze up there too. Tutmak serves some of the best coffee in town, and you... More

We were only at Ubud for few days. We went to Tutmak on last night there and it was such a great way to end our holiday! I really love the surroundings and atmostphere, nice decoration and all. Food is all great and price is affordable. We will definitely go back whenever we go to Ubud again.

I always find Unud to be a bit challenging; heat is usually oppressive and the sidewalks are a trip (forgive the double entendre). Our latest visit helped me turn the corner on those issues. With a visit to one of our jewelry designers under our belt, we joined her for lunch at Tutmak. We hadn't been there in years and... More
