Ideally located next to the football field in central Ubud on Jalan Dewi Sita (just off Monkey Forest Road), Tutmak has consistently gained popularity since opening its doors in a smaller space across the road in 1994. Over the years, maintaining our basic concept of good coffee, fresh food and home-style atmosphere has time and again won over new fans and brought back loyal regulars, both local and international.

Yes, worth trying out

Chanced upon this resturant. Ordered their spicy thai beef salad and beef rendang. Have to say, the taste is over expectation and it will definately worth returning again. Simple and not over doing it, that summarise all.

Different seating areas / levels and good to be able to enjoy a meal sitting on upper level and be able to look along the busy streets and 'people watch'. Good service, enjoyed lunch for two of small beer and best ever fresh orange juice (glass not full up of ice leaving little room for juice as can be the... More

We travelled with another couple and stumbled across Tutmak and we were delighted that we did. The venue was nice, clean, friendly wait staff and efficient. Then our meals came out and WOW. My friend and I both ordered the Tuna with mushroom dish and it was amazing. My partner had Kwae Tieu which he loved. It was the first... More

I don't know why they are well rated. The location is nice, but the food is a dissapointment for a place like Ubud. Ordered a fresh coconut for drink, it was too old to be able to eat the meat and the juice not chilled. Both the Indonesian and Western dish were disappointing. You can get great food for their... My first visit was in year 2008. Their food are still consistent in taste and presentation. Today I had lunch at Tutmak. My appetizers was Vietnam fresh spring roll (a clear wrap spring roll made of rice and the stuffing are clear noddle, fine cut carrot, basil leaf, mint leaf, spring onion, with chicken) served in four cut with delicious... We hadn't decided where to eat dinner so we walked around looking for inspiration. Tutmak initially appealed to us because it had a raised dining area that overlooked the quiet street of Jl Dewi Sita, just off the main drag next to the football oval, in Ubud. A quick look at the menu persuaded us to try the food. At... More

A former favourite but now subject to a life time ban on our part. The two points were given for the cold Bintang, and they were always good at that, and the waitress telling a customer he couldn't smoke on the lower level. Otherwise the food was really disappointing where previously it's been so tasty. My Nasi Campur was inedible... More

I live in Ubud so I know many restaurants in the area and Tutmak was so disappointing... I had the smallest portion of nachos in my life for 40,000 Rp. My boyfriend had a small bowl of vegan pasta for 70,000... Flavor was good but the portions were ridiculous and I feel ripped off.

I visited this restaurant in the early evening as it looks appealing from outside. The staff were very friendly and polite, and did not keep approaching me asking if everything was ok. I ordered my food and it came quickly and was tasty. I say there for another hour or so without being bothered which was nice! Wifi is an... More

I got the daily special Butterfish and was very pleased with it. The staff was attentive and the Wifi some of the best I have experienced in Ubud.
