Ideally located next to the football field in central Ubud on Jalan Dewi Sita (just off Monkey Forest Road), Tutmak has consistently gained popularity since opening its doors in a smaller space across the road in 1994. Over the years, maintaining our basic concept of good coffee, fresh food and home-style atmosphere has time and again won over new fans and brought back loyal regulars, both local and international.

Good variety of food

We have been visiting Tutmak for over 6 years, we come to Bali every 2 years. Every visit we have at least one meal at Tutmak. The food is great value, tasty and offers a broad menu. This time I had the Middle Eastern Plate - dips, falafel, pita bread and mixed salad.

This is a great cafe. We had lunch here on July 20th. The Thai green curry was really authentic and the Thai beef salad even better. They have specials too. I tried the hickory chicken sandwich & it was nice. The minestrone soup also looked very good. The staff were friendly and the location very easy to get around to all... More

The food was lovely and the breeze through the open windows was refreshing. Overall highly recommended, but it's worth mentioning that this place had the least friendly service we have had in Bali. Certainly not rude, but the staff were very disengaged and it was hard to get their attention.

We had our last dinner in Bali at Tutmak, and the choice could have hardly been any better! Food greatly tasting, service courteous and attentive, prices a bit above average but not outrageously high (you pay for the fact of eating right in the centre of Ubud, I guess). What really stroke was the beautiful, relaxed atmosphere, as well as... More

I had seen this place recommended on a number of forums as having fast, reliable Wi-Fi. It's not true! I went in July 2015 and the Wi-Fi was so glacial, it was unusable. It was very disappointing. I've found other cafés in Ubud with good Wi-Fi, but this is not one of them unfortunately.

This is my favorite restaurant due to an open view to football field, good food, reasonable price and the fact that they are among small amount of restaurant which open early in the morning for breakfast.

We had a lovely brunch here with a nice coffee. It was nice & light - lovely hummus with eggs & pita bread. There are a lot of other food options. Definitely would go back again to try other items on the menu. We sat facing a large football field at a low table. Good food, good coffee, good ambience.

If you grab a table overlooking the soccer fields watching the kids on the field you can forget the ever present litter & get into the slower pace of life in Bali. Coffee was as good as I have had, & the food is good. Visited number of times.

Had Nasi Campur for dinner. It's enough to fill you up. Simple yet tasty meal. I chose chicken, it was crispy and flavourful. The chilli compliment the whole meal. Didn't regret ordering that.
