Description: Ideally located next to the football field in central Ubud on Jalan Dewi Sita (just off Monkey Forest Road), Tutmak has consistently gained popularity since opening its doors in a smaller space across the road in 1994. Over the years, maintaining our basic concept of good coffee, fresh food and home-style atmosphere has time and again won over new fans and brought back loyal regulars, both local and international.

I went to Tutmak twice. First go around, the customer service was terrible. After the menu was brought to me, I was kind of forgotten. I had to go up to the bar to order my food since no one came to my table. I hesitate to guess what the amount of time I waited was. You know when we... More

Good range on menu and not too pricey. Even some lovely pastries if you are missing home. I do recommend it to friends to try it and they have enjoyed.

I found this place because of a blog recommending spots to do office work in Ubud. The blog was dead right - it's the best place I've found to whip your notebook out and sit there doing paperwork for hours. The five star rating is because it's a great place for this purpose. If you're after a great meal they've... More

First of all, the food was average but their bagel was awful! It was too stiff and dry. We got a lot of different things but there wasn't even a dish worth that price, too expensive for Bali's standards. The problem came when during the dinner the waitress asked us to move to another table because they needed it for... More

Have been here twice now, and am writing this at the restaurant now.... The salad is very good! No issues with unwashed vegetables! However both times the pasta ordered was undercooked... When it gets busy the services slows to a crawl... Waited 20 minutes to get served and a glass of water! Sorry to say.! The food is above average... More

The place is nice, better seat on the table looking at the soccer field during busy traffic jam in front of the Cafe, since fumes from the car can be smell from the Cafe. The price is not that cheap, I can say lil' bit expensive compare to the similar qualtiy in other restaurant, but maybe because now Tutmak is... More

Went for late lunch and had the Balinese nasi campur and sate. The nasi campur was delicious, a good mixture of rice, chicken, vege, tofu, egg and some crackers. Sate was quite good too, would have been better if the peanut sauce was hot. Service can be improved by speeding up at payment time.

I think it's time wealthy expats who own these restaurants/cafés take a good look at their businesses.. They are not in an Australian city so why the cost of $4.20 for a burnt bitter coffee. The staff were disinterested and unhelpful. I asked for extra milk, like a thimbleful , never got it and she couldn't have cared less. I... More

Amazing range of food and flavours. Personal favourites are blueberry pancakes for breakfast, the penne pasta with chicken and my #1 nasi campur with tuna. Simply divine. Washed down with lime squash and a hot latte. Best coffee in Bali and they sell the coffee beans too. I could easily eat here 3 times a day.
