We found this restaurant nearby nicks pension hotel and decided to try it our. To our surprise it is a French based menu. We had a lovely dinner there with escargot for a starter, grilled chicken breast for main which just melted in your mouth. Lamb that was equally as tender. We felt the only let down were the desserts... More

After 2 weeks of Indonesian food, we had dinner in Cafe des Artistes & tasted the best steak we had in Bali. There is a large wine card, also quite unusual for the island. Somewhat more expensive than local resto's but certainly worth it!

My husband and I booked a table here (it's necessary between 7pm-9pm) on a recommendation from a local. My husband ordered the steak which was tasty although not cooked medium rare as requested. I ordered the seafood Thai red curry, how they can call it that I do not know as it is missing many of the key ingredients- coconut... More

We just are back from the restaurant and can only confirm that this is one of the better places to eat in Ubud for a reasonable - according to western Europe standards a very low - price. Just 100 meters away from ubuds bussiest road you come into a relaxed atmosphere with a very friendly and professional team. Reservation is... More

After two weeks of Indonesian food it was a good change to have dinner at a cosy place with western food. The food was good, price quality ratio were in line. The ambiance was excellent in a quiet street. (quite exceptional in Ubud centre). I can highly recoommend it!!

This resto was only a couple of doors down form our hotel. So after a busy day we thought we try it. We have a lovely meal and would highly recommend it.

After some days of local food, we felt like something western. Cafe des Artistes looked promising and has a nice terrace. The food is however mediocre in my most postive judgement possibly. My pasta was cooked too long and was swimming in the creamy 'carbonara' sauce. The goat cheese of my girlfriend was a slice of brown bread with some... More

My boyfriend and I had dinner at the restaurant and we liked it a lot. We booked a few hours before, which was lucky as there were people waiting for tables when we arrived. We got our food pretty quickly, and for an entree, two mains, a side, two waters, two alcoholic drinks and two sodas it cost us around... More

After a couple of days of local food, we decided to try this Belgian/Indonesian owned restaurant, located in the same street as our hotel. Offering a nice Euro/Bali mix in a nice setting, the food was excellent (ribs, archiduc steak and goat cheese, followed by crêpes Suzette, crêpes Mikado and a Oreo milkshake). The pure napkin wipes were really a... More

I had lunch with my girl friends and I impressed with their big and delicious Salad. The coffee was great and it came with a small sweet chocolate which balance with the coffee. The good point of this place is the parking spot! They have enough space for 4 cars to park, very rare to find place like this in... More
