Delicious Indonesian fare!

We stopped by Cafe des Artistes purely because we were looking for somewhere close to our accomodation for a quick dinner. We ordered the Nasi Goreng and the Gado Gado and they came out beautifully presented as deconstructed dishes. To add to this, they were delicious and amazingly well priced. We... read more

Late night dining for travellers on a budget looking for a place to get a proper steak. I mean, the steak was the best I've gotten in 5 years. You will get a high-class meal for two with drinks for less than 20 euros. If you are arriving on late night flight or just overslept your evening nap, this is... More

Our host in Ubud Bali Recommened this restaurant, it was very good. They specialize in Belgian food as well as some Balenese dishes. The beef is imported from Australia and very tender. A very safe place to eat with great fare and european beers.

Visited this restaurant on recommendation of our hotel which is also on Bisma street. Family ordered grilled tuna steak and spaghetti which was okay. Against my better judgement- I decided to go for their speciality- steak cafe de Paris. The French fries were great, but the steak was really bad. Tasted like it had been boiled. (Don't know how the... More

We visit this restaurant every year and it never fails to please. The staff are very well trained and lovely. We dined in 4 times and take away once. We have had many different dishes and loved them all. Delicious food. Situated on Jalan Bisma and even though this street is getting busier it is still pleasant sitting outside. Look... More

Nice setting and the main course was very good. It looked like a smaller portion but it was filling. However, quite disappointed by the dessert, a crepe micado. Staff could also be a bit more friendly, but overall a good experience.

Yes its a pleasant atmosphere. But the steak is not good. Really not good. Its stringy and a mouth marathon to chew. I ordered medium rare and my gf medium but they mixed them up. Then they brought me a blue steak to make it up. So blue it was still beating. That was only the begining of problems though,... More

we always stop here at least once to enjoy a bebek betutu. As we did not remember we needed to reserve a day ahead we dined twice. In rainy season, the tables under the sunshades/umbrella are risky, so we stayed inside. Was a bit hot as there are not enough fans. Staff was friendly albeit not overly profesional (as for... More
