Spicy and tasteful

If you go to Ubud why eat western food! Try nasi ayam Ibu Mangku! A little bit spicy chicken with herbal sauce and peanut it's very tasteful and the price is very reasonable.

That taste only could find in Bali, really Balinese taste. Great with the soda and milk. The place is clean also. If you want to eat chicken then this is the right place.

You've got to love a restaurant that only has two options: Nasi Ayam Campur and Nasi Ayam Pisah. I went there with a school group--31 in all--and they stayed open late for us. They treated us royally, with huge portions, excellent chicken, and amazing kua (soup). When every place you go to does some basic kind of nasi campur, it's nice to see someone take care to do it well.

The food is a little too salty to my taste but overall it's a good food. Affordable and lovely place. Will definitely come back.

After trying many restaurants looking for the best chicken, I would say that Ibu Mangku's is certainly among one of the best in Bali. Great tasting chicken(beware, it is spicy) and as an added bonus you can try restaurant with a real Balinese homey atmosphere. Complete with many temples in surrounding area. Just 15 minutes drive from central Ubud. Highly... More

third time we come back to this restaurant, we are always pleased by the quality of this traditional restaurant. Pure Balinese and Pure quality. It's perfect for lunch, very quick, very simple menu, all dishes are delicious, a little spicy but tasty, the fresh fruit juice are wonderful and they really don't cheat with a lot of water or ice....
