Tucked away from the road, opposite "The Street Cafe", the cafe is exelent for food, and drink, it is always very cheap.

Having walked passed Little Bird a few times over the past 10 days we had yet to see it with an empty table but last night we dropped lucky and decided to see what the fuss was about. Service was reasonably prompt given the busy period but overall I felt the food fell short of expectations given it's popularity and... More

Very tasty food, loved it, pity the Balinese do not prevent smoking in their eating areas, the Europeans next to me didn't even care about the 2 children behind them and myself eating my meal, it's okay for these young Europeans who had finished their meal, but bugger anyone else in the cafe. Lovely cafe and nice young Balinese guys... More

This restaurant was recommended to us so we went there for lunch, We were disappointed about the bad tasting food. I wouldn't recommend going there. When we were asking for reduction as the salad was not eatable the employees first ignored us and were then uncooperative.

This is a small restaurant, food is delicious and service too. The problem for us was one that we have encountered in most Balinese restaurants, which is that smoking is still allowed in restaurants. Accepting that this happens, you hope that you can move tables, which we did when some people left, or you get on and make the best... More

After all the hype we finally tried the #1 restaurant in Sanur (based on tripadvisor). This place should not even be in the top 50. Why? Under-seasoned and overcooked (read: blend and dry) meats drenched in heavy starchy sauces. Wasted our calories on this meal. We were told they have another branch further down the road, by the name of... More

This would have to be one of the best places to eat in Sanur. It's not fine dining but the food is fabulous. The warung is small, so expect to wait for a table at peak times. Delicious and cheap food. The only downside is that smoking is allowed.

This is a very popular place - we had good dishes of the usual Indonesian fare. There was a queue for seats by 7pm. An acoustic musician was playing but it wasn't as loud as some of the other places.

Little Bird is never going to win a prize for 'fine dining in a ritzy restaurant' but that it is not what it is about. The food is good and the young staff seem to have a passion to ensure that this is always the case. Many eating houses spend a fortune to create the 'shabby chic/funky' effect which Little... More
