The Glass House is that quaint building on Jalan Tamblingan you may have seen with the white plantation shutters at the front and the carosel animals in the garden. It is renowned for its fabulous cappuccino , espresso and all types of coffee and home made cakes. Full breakfast for $10 includes an array of house baked pastries, muffins and breads. Cooked items include full offering of American and Australian breakfasts. A great place to have a fresh salad or baguette for lunch and the tastiest homemade hamburgers in Bali. Dinners can often offer a degustation tasting plate of the freshest available produce in Bali at the time as well as many popular seafood and other dishes including vegetarian and the popular local Indonesian favorites. Funky tunes play, whilst you watch the world go by. Free wi-fi for doing business or just catching up on emails. Friendly staff, fresh organic ingredients, vegetables washed in bottled water for extra safety. Frosty juices, ice cold smoothies and milkshakes are a winner here. Fine quality Australian, Californian and Indonesian wine are available by the glass and the bottle at very competitive prices. You may also bring your own if you wish. The famous fresh Kelapa Muda , (young coconut) is available here for enormous health benefits. The Glass House is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the friendly atmosphere and delicious food. A place where you actually get what you ordered!! Very trendy hang out.

Happy hour cocktails

I went there for a reunion lunch with a friend, and almost passed by this Glass House. Despite the size and look of the place, it's so well hidden! I ordered Fish & Chips - it came with fries. Mmmmm... For me it was a big portion. :) I loved it there, from the food, the beverage, the layout of... More

First night in Sanur and after avoiding the abundance of traditional offerings to the gods and sleeping dogs on the pavement, this restaurant's attractive frontage caught my eye. From the friendly welcome to the easy going atmosphere, from the very good menu choice to the quality of dishes, my family of 4 were very happy. My two teenagers can be... More

Not the cheapest breakfast spot by bali standards, but certainly not expensive. The space is gorgeous and if you get the couch area you can contain a toddler without too much trouble. The staff were friendly and unobtrusive. Food was good and the serving sizes not ott (you will be able to eat lunch without too much trouble.) Toddler loved... More

Went here many times with my husband and my daughter for breakfast and dinner. We almost try all the menu. Service was great, selection of food was great, menu is combination of Indonesian and western menu, which is great for my daughter who loves Indonesian breakfast and my husband who loves Western food. Price is reasonable too. Will definitely come... More

Our family went to the Glass House for both lunch and dinner. A nice casual cafe with a good selection of food, deserts and good coffee.

Had dinner here with hubby yesterday. The food was great- had the green chicken curry and the meat was so tender and the spice balance just right. Was quite cold inside where the aircondition was on, and my husband who sat directly in the blow out zone got cold, but they turned it down as soon as we asked. The... More

After a few days searching for dinner spots the Glass House finally took the cake! It was exactly what we were looking for. The food had amazing variety from local to "home" type meals. Sometimes even if you're in a far off distant land you still want a great piece of apple pie and the Glass House and provide that!... More
