The Glass House is that quaint building on Jalan Tamblingan you may have seen with the white plantation shutters at the front and the carosel animals in the garden. It is renowned for its fabulous cappuccino , espresso and all types of coffee and home made cakes. Full breakfast for $10 includes an array of house baked pastries, muffins and breads. Cooked items include full offering of American and Australian breakfasts. A great place to have a fresh salad or baguette for lunch and the tastiest homemade hamburgers in Bali. Dinners can often offer a degustation tasting plate of the freshest available produce in Bali at the time as well as many popular seafood and other dishes including vegetarian and the popular local Indonesian favorites. Funky tunes play, whilst you watch the world go by. Free wi-fi for doing business or just catching up on emails. Friendly staff, fresh organic ingredients, vegetables washed in bottled water for extra safety. Frosty juices, ice cold smoothies and milkshakes are a winner here. Fine quality Australian, Californian and Indonesian wine are available by the glass and the bottle at very competitive prices. You may also bring your own if you wish. The famous fresh Kelapa Muda , (young coconut) is available here for enormous health benefits. The Glass House is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the friendly atmosphere and delicious food. A place where you actually get what you ordered!! Very trendy hang out.

The food was great bar one dish!

It would be a shame to judge a restaurant based on one dish so I need to get that issue out of the way. Their Bannofee pie was not edible. It wasn't eaten and they did not charge for it. I hope they change their supplier otherwise don't order it if a favourite dish! As for the remainder of the... read more

I stayed next door at the Kejor Suites in Sanur, Bali. Breakfast was included with my stay. Such great food. The one big breakfast reminded me so much of home in Canada. Bacon, eggs, breads and fruit. The coffee is also wonderful. They have cocktail hour from 4-7pm. The fruity drinks are ok, but I think a little watered down.... More

We tried this place for dinner because it looked great from the street. After my yummy $5 cocktail, I had rice paper rolls that were the best I have ever had anywhere, and chicken satay which was delectable. Husband had the beef pie which was a home made style with gravy and veges, and he really enjoyed it. We were... More

Best Coffee in Bali. Staff were friendly and easy to talk to. Great for a post walk-and-shop fuel up. Will definitely go back.

We've been here few times during our stay in sanur. First we came for dinner. I got beef burger. It had thick beef patty and bacons! More than enough meat but i love it! Tried their lemon meringue, soft and nice. Then we came back for dessert and coffee the next day. Glad that we came to this place. Definitely... More

thank you very much for your feedback. We love our desserts and are proud to say we make them in our kitchen. Not bad for Balinese people who have never had these recipes before. So glad you enjoyed them and welcome back soon More

The Glasshouse was a restaurant more like we'd get back home in Australia. Inside, air-conditioned and a menu that's geared at tourists. After a day out in the humidity, it's not such a bad option. We had a couple of cocktails during the 4-7pm happy hour. They were tasty but they seemed a little light on the alcohol. I had... More

Thank you for your complimentary review. Glad you enjoyed everything at the Glass House . Would be keen to know why you only rated us as a 3 star and what would make you think that the other restaurants up the road are better? We just want to improve thats all and would value you opinion. Ate dinner here, and it was was amazing. Started with a half price cocktail ($50k Rp daily 4-7pm) then onto the meal. The pick of the food we ordered was the pork ribs, marinated in palm sugar and served with this ah-mazing bbq sauce. Would go back just for those! Sit out in the lovely "glass house" area or in... One of us ordered something he ended up didn't liking. It happens. The restaurant did little to help so we didn't order something else but ended up splitting the curry I had. It was good so we got to enjoy this together. Took home a piece of carrot cake which was delicious but exactly the same as the cake from... More

Find it hard to see why this place is rated so highly. Granted, we didn't eat here only went for drinks but even that was ordinary. Far better places to go in Sanur in my opinion. Can't comment on the food, but the beers were warm and served in plastic cups...apparently so they don't smash when customers are walking between... More

Well thank you for your feedback on your visit to the Glass House. This is what actually happened. You did enter from the street and you were served by our staff Putu. The Glasshouse is a really nice place to eat! The food is delicious. I stayed in the Accomodation next door so my buffet breakfast was included. There was a huge range of food to choose from.
