Have recently travelled to Bali with friends who are gluten intolerant. Found Poppies staff and menu to be excellent. Staff had a good knowledge of the diet restrictions which made it great for dining out. We could relax and enjoy the food. Meals were reasonably priced. We are here a few times as my friends felt safe with their menu... More

For me personally, this is one of the best restaurants around the kuta area. The setting is really pretty, hidden away in the gardens away from all of the motorbikes and traffic in Kuta. They offer some great seafood and Indonesian dishes and all are very reasonably priced. Romantic for couples and also great for groups. Very chilled evening here.

Walking into Poppies was like entering another world. We ended up visiting every day, and the food was always divine. The toilets are probably the best toilets in Bali, which is a big deal after some of the ones you have to endure. Highly recommend the Rice Table, it was truly wonderful, and of course the Pina Coladas!

Poppies is one of South Bali's most talked about restaurants. Set in an outdoor tropical setting so characteristic of Bali's outdoor lifestyle, this place has a great ambiance. To begin the night we ordered the famous "Barong" Piña Colada which went down very well. The Satay Chicken skewers are brought to your table, smoking on a charcoal grill and are... More

It's a little on the expensive side I guess, but it's a nice peaceful place to have some food, and the food is very good. I thought the service was also great. The wifi is a bit off in places, but hey you are there for the food right!

This was the best restaurant I have eaten in, in Bali. Love the lassi's and avocado prawn cocktails. Makes me want to go there right now.

We visit this restaurant every year. This year was a bit of dissapointment. Always Loved the prawns in garlic with Bread. This time I got 3!! Prawns, Bread was old and we had to Pay almost 6,5 dollar! for 3 prawns. Even in Europe You Will get more food for this price! Furtheron al was ok.

Budi looked after us with a smile! Start your night with the legendary Piña Colada served in a carved "Barong Character" coconut. Must have the satay that is cooked on the charcoal grill at your table. All dishes are very tasty and are easily shared with on a group situation. Lovely deserts - especially the Creme Brûlée which is massive.... More

We have been coming to Bali for over 20 years and eaten at Poppies many times. That fact we keep coming back is testament to the quality of the food and ambiance of the setting. When we first ate at Poppies the price was high end for Bali, but the quality of the food, the great setting and the staff... More
