We ate at Poppies 2 times in 7 days we were in Bali. The food was fantastic and fresh. We had the rice table on our second visit with a taste of many different flavors of Bali. We are returning to Bali in October and will be going back to Poppies for a meal or two. The service from the... More

I hadn't been back to Bali in twelve years and couldn't believe how much it had changed. After having the opportunity to have a night out with my husband minus the kids I chose Poppies from my last beautiful experience. It didn't disappoint It was lovely to experience some familiarity. Beautiful romantic oasis at night. Off beaten track although probably... More

We discovered Poppies Restaurant about 32 years ago & although we don't stay at Kuta, each time we've been to Bali we've always gone over for the day just to have lunch at Poppies as it is a real haven in the midst of all the hustle & bustle. And this time there has been a gap of 17 years... More

Poppies restaurant is always a must for us every visit whether for lunch or dinner. As soon as you walk through the gates it instantly feels like a quiet secret garden, cool, quiet and the staff always bring out the refreshing cold towels. The food is fantastic and the individual hand carved coconuts that are the legendary pina coloda's are... More

Went to this lovely restaurant 14 years ago and again this year (2013) The menu, staff, ambience, is second to none. The cocktails in coconut with decorations is still fantastic. My husband, children (19 and 16) and G/F (18) absolutely loved the place. You would not know the hustle and bustle is just outside. It is such a tranquil oasis.... More

On the busy streats of Kuta you don't expect to find a peaceful place to eat like Poppies Restaurant! Food and service is excellent, and the prices are reasonable.

Food was beautiful, tranquil setting out of the hustle of Kuta. Service great and couldn't complain about anything. Prices good too.

This secluded restaurant was a gem. It was an oasis of greenery and quiet among the busy streets. The food was beautifully prepared. Try one of the coconut carved drinks. It is the cutest thing you've ever seen. The food is delicious. Creme brûlée for desert was enough for two. We ate here twice during our stay in Bai. You... More
