I loved the food at the Tsavo Lion Restaurant on our recent trip to Bali and stay at the Mara River Lodge safari park. We had lunch at the restaurant which was lovely. But really really loved the dinner there. It was just really fabulous and special. We had 3 courses including flambe bananas dessert which the lovely chef came... More

Have been to Tsavo many times while staying at Mara River. Skipped entree and main this time due to limited menu...went straight for Flambe Banana which was great. Would like to see a few more options on the menu. Great quality food though. And the Flambe was delicious.

Both myself and my wife are qualified chefs. I am a European classicly french trained and my wife is australian trained. Blown away by the quality, flavours and plating of the entire 5 courses. Talk sbout value for money. This hidden little gem should be alot more known. As for the other comments dissing the food, I apolagise on behalf... More

Food is average so do not bother to order, but the 2 companions: lions, are great because their cave is just in front of the restaurant so you watch them, they watch you :))

Lovely atmospheric restaurant, in the lions den. Its not fine dining but definitely a great experience. Loved going to the toilet with a Lion having a kip in the nearby cave, just metres away!

The tsavo has a very good ambient, view to the lion's nest was pretty cool. The food taste 6 out of 10, a very common taste on a restaurant and a bit pricy. Overall, it's just ok...

Imagine that you sit and eat excellent Mexican food, making you in Indonesia, even closer discussed: in Bali, only a glass wall separating you from the lion's den, indescribable experience. All possible prepouke for food, atmosphere, friendly waiters and hygienic conditions.

This restaurant, as the name... make you eat so closely with the lion.. Beside the restaurant is lion cage in Bali Safari and Marine Park... You can enjoy your meal while seeing the lion sleep over there... Want delicious food?? Try spaghetti or fettucini carbonara!!! hmmm.... so delicious... The price is not too cheap but i think it's worth it...... More

We were starving after a big morning walking the park. We arrived for lunch approx 12.30pm and I asked to be sat near the meerkats. The girl was a bit busy and said yes and pointed to a table that was not set. I had to call a waitress for menus and cutlery, she bought the menus but no cutlery.... More

Lions lions everywhere, meerkats as well and hippo right out of your dining table! definitely never a dull dining moment as you never know what the animals are up to next. Just be prepared when you visit the washroom, never know when the lion will peer up to you and give a shock like I had!
