If this is the only restaurant option in the resort than it's the one you'd want. Breakfast is sufficient and you can order eggs and pancakes hot. Fantastic lunches and dinner options and fantastic staff too. Always helpful and greeted with smiles. Great food and great service is a winning combination!!! Thank you everyone for looking after us for 4... More

There were lovely little touches for the Christmas Celebration at night. The African Christmas Music was piped peacefully through the speaker system, not to detract, but enhance the experience. The food was very nice, especially the beef tenderloin, but the lovely surprise of a glass of the local alcohol with dinner was a great present! My girl had the chicken... More

This was a very good dining experience by having glass enclosure with two lions outside. There were also meerkats running around and fighting all the time. They were very cute and our little one loves them. Food was ok. If you order Western food, it is a bit 'Asianized'. This is not a baby friendly restaurant. There were only two... More

Felt weird with the Lion staring at your dinner but it's a different experience dining in the restaurant, the restrooms are surrounded by the glass enclosure as well and happened to catch one Lion peering over in curiosity, the food is good and the service was exemplary, pleasant waiters and quick to take your orders or attend to your needs

Ok I'll ignore the fun of watching lions outside, as this is about value and quality of food, The view doesn't compensate for the ridiculous prices for the terrible food. Around $15 for a parmigiana that was dry, small and accompanied by dried out chips and undercooked vegetables. A milkshake was $5.50. Grilled chicken was about 4"x 4 " and... More

We stayed two nights and had 2 Breakfast and 2 Dinner here. Eating near the lions is a very unique experience even though they are mostly asleep. Could've let us know the feeding time though. Steak was overcooked and the air conditioning isn't working well, some of them weren't even turned on. Overall experience was good, staffs are very friendly.

Stayed overnight at Mara River Safari Lodge at the Bali Safari Park and dinner and breakfast at Tsavo Lion Restaurant, what an experience. At Diner we had 2 lions prowling around outside which was floodlit it was amazing watching these animals in a natural environment up so close. The food was excellent and good value. At breakfast a Lion came... More

During my stay at the Mara River lodge we had our evening meal here. The food is of a good standard but is very expensive compared to Balinses standards. What seperates this place from everywhere else though is the view. We booked early to ensure that we had our meal sitting by the glass so that we could watch the... More

Dining here is an experience once the lion walked right up to the window and looked straight at all of us. We had a few meals here and most are good but overpriced. Ribs were good with plenty of sauce. Duck was ok, Balinese sampler was a good entree both the ginger cake and flambé bananas were qute good.
