The restaurant has a good location, but you can find others in Varanasi with much better food. Decent food, but nothing spectacular

View of the Ganges is nicer as compared to the view from the ghats. Food is average and choice is limited to Italian, French and Continental dishes. The prices are a little higher than other places nearby, though. If you are looking for even slight variety of Indian food, this is not the place for you. More of a tourist... More

Maybe people love the rooftop overlooking the Ganges so much that they forget about their taste buds. The sauce of my chicken curry had less taste than your usual Indian food - even in the UK - and the chicken itself was abysmal. It was so overcooked that (once I scraped off the sauce) it was a brown/black colour and... More

Had a simple stir fry, it was tasty and a break from spices. The lemonade with mint was very refreshing. Service wasn't exactly brilliant but it wasn't awful either. Stunning location right on the river and great to watch the world go by.

There are not so many options to have dinner in the ghats area. Lotus Lounge is one of them. The food is ok, and you eat facing the river which is always magical, either sitting at a table or lying on matresses. A little music, a tad more light and a more smiling staff would do no harm...

The setting for the Lotus Lounge is brilliant, the views over the Ganges and surrounding Ghats make it unique. However the staff seem disinterested with was surprising considering the popularity of the place, but then again I could have been spoilt by local restaurants who cant seem to do enough for you. When it came to order, the first two... More

A perfect location for dinner and watch the river from a height. Nice taste of western food, a good place if you want some salad, pasta and non-Indian food. And they and one of the fastest serving restaurant in India.

This place has a very nice view of the Ganga. The food is decent and their coffee is good. WiFi is available.
