A lovely, quaint 1st floor cafe with small shop below. Food is fresh and healthy. I enjoyed the eggless omelet that comes with toasted wheat bun and fresh fruit bowl. The coffee is strong and REAL, something I've been missing so while in India. Your can just spend the morning sipping your drink, listening to the soft music and other... More

This is a great find. Wind yourselves up the narrow staircase, past the shop, which you must explore later, and treat yourself to Rose Lassi. WOW! Good coffee, gluten free selections, it is simply great.

Not being a fan of sweet breakfasts I did not love the menu. It was pancakes or granola. Strict vegetarian (including no eggs) limits the options I guess. The venue was nice and the staff were friendly. I'll be eating round the comer at the Open Hand next time though.

Sorry for not meeting your need for eggs... Aum cafe is connected to a small Hindu temple, with respect for the fact that eggs are not permitted in or around a Hindu temple we choose not to serve egg...try use for lunch sometime we offer many savoury item....Hugs More

The food we tried at Aum cafe felt very nutritious and well cooked with natural fresh ingredients! Everything was made with care. The catalogue is interesting with a lot of information about nutrition and alternative therapies. We reccomend the eggless omelette and the kicharee.

Aum Cafe is in the Assi Ghat area of Varanasi and is upstairs in a building down a side laneway off the main road. It is well signposted. Restaurant and a nice relaxing vista from a "balcony area". Kitchen and office/shop for the restaurant are found on the lower two levels. The Cafe has a nice menu selection of fresh... More

We had a very nice breakfast there, cozy relaxed athmosphere. Helpful staff! It is located in a calm area not far from Assi Ghat.

We read the reviews and were never disappointed at Aum. We had lunch there many times and it was nice to enjoy a cafe in Varanasi without everyone smoking which seems to be the norm...which is not fine if you don't smoke. The food was simple but very healthy with great herbal teas. A great rooftop setting and I highly... More
