this restaurant was recommended by a hotel staff member and we were happy to be able to walk to get there. The décor was ok and menu sounded interesting . However, that is where our favourable impression stopped. it took forever to be served our food and once it was served, it was cold. The thalis were nothing to write... More

Food OK but up to 2 hours for delivery, a joke, They said they only had one oven. Don't bother coming here.

Varanasi is probably one of India's top 3 most visited places and there should be a law against eateries like this. Dirty, dinghy interiors...stale food...hopeless unapologetic service...you name it and they have it. We waited for over an hour for our order at lunch time with hardly any other patrons...received stale food nowhere near the ingredients mentioned in the menu.... More

not worth it, spending xtra amount of money and getting the same taste which you can avail at any other restaurant. Ambience is good and so do the service as well.

my driver recommended this and i went along, and there were lots of tourist here. the food was just average typical indian, nothing special or unique. the honey-ice-cream-fruit dessert was nice to end the hot day with. but what's annoying is that they are selling art or whatever for a worthy cause (who knows if its true??) but they kept... We ordered a cheese platter, which was 200 rupees more expensive then a place a had it before, where it was delicious. So I had expectations. The bread was old, the cheese was frozen and the salad was rot. My friends salad had none of the ingredients the menu said, instead of apple, feta, nuts and capsicum it was gobi... More

This little restaurant, tucked away a couple of streets from the main hotels in the Mall Road, serves great food for its size. We had some of the tastiest food here that we had in 5 weeks in northern India. It is a little place, but delivers on service, quality and price. The host was particularly attentive, making sure that... More

We were recommended this restaurant by a few people. We went for the mixed thali, but it was by far the worst one we had across our 16-day India trip. We had expected much more from this place. Wouldn't recommend it.

After a morning boat ride on the Ganges followed by a tour of City temples, we were ready to go to Sarnath, bit it was time for lunch. I had already had several bad experiences with driver choices of restaurants, but since this was a new driver and he was taking us to Sarnath I aksed him to choose a... More

I went with a tour group so the meal was "fixed". I like thali but this one was such poor quality I could not eat anything but the naan bread. I hate wasting food but noticed that my fellow travellers also left most of their meal. Some of the other guests ordered a la carte and to be fair their... More
