Best bakery in Varanshi

They have recently started serving indian food as well which is equally great as their continental dishes. Their cup-cakes and pastries are worth a try. I tried their lasagna, which was freshly baked and healthy

First and foremost: after bring three groups, for a total of 37 people, to this restaurant over a one month period, we tried to go there with our local friends.... until we were informed that locals could not enter. SERIOUSLY?! I can appreciate wanting to keep touts out, but old friends we want to catch up with? Everyone was extremely... More

First of all make sure you go to the right one as there are two within 10m of each other. The real one is 4 floors high. I had high hopes after hearing such good reviews and unfortunately was disappointed. The bread is amazing and the BBB special salad is delicious but everything else we ordered was pretty poor. Coffee... More

The food in this restaurant is really safe, really good ! It takes some time to have it but it worth it! The staff is not the more smilling staff but they are still cool. The food is expensive for India but it's still less expensive than in France (for exemple). The roof top is really interresting with all that... More

I think they are dying to copy the German brown bread bakery across the way. I had some very white bread here with some pretty uninspired breakfast.

Im sorry lonely planet glorifies this place, the roof top 4 levels up is the only nice thing about this place. 90% of the baked goods are never avaliable, said can i get a crossant.. 10 minutes later.. Sorry sir we only half chocolate cake (which was really dry, no flavour).. And half the menu for that matter, he said... More

Sincerely, I do not understand what all the fuzz was about. Maybe the BBB had some glory before the Lonely Planet review. I found a very uncreative menu, sloppy preparation, poor service and a decadent atmosphere. I'm not usually too fuzzy, but here I had to return a lassi because of how bad it was. Don't waste your time and... More

For such a recommended place there was barely anything to help with the bugs at night. They could put up some lights on the outside of the building to attract them elsewhere. The food was pretty nice.

I went with a lot of hope in this restaurant and when expectations are high you tend to fall short of satisfaction. I ordered a pizza which nearly took 50 min to come. It was tasty but nothing out of the world. sandwich was bad and cold coffee were average and lemon honey tea was okay. Ambiance was not nice... More

The place is a good idea. They try. We went in low season so not that many cheese options were available, but the ones we ordered were delicious. Yummy hummus too. Prices aren't super cheap but we expected that for fresh Western food. Do it once, enjoy the live music (some nights) and take away a gluten free treat for... More
